Absolutely blown away by how lovely my stay at Maryville House was. My room was gorgeous: a big comfortable bed and a lovely big bath tub too. The breakfast included was a selection from their menu which had lots of options and was really tasty. The staff were so kind and helpful. If I come back to Belfast I'm not...

As a business traveller I have become increasingly tired of the plain Premier Grim style hotels and always look for more individual properties. Sometimes this does backfire but Maryville House is a superb find. The staff appear to genuinely care and you feel like you are staying in their home, absolutely lovely. There is a tea room within so they...

I was at Maryville House for afternoon tea 3 years ago twice and thought it was excellent, the food was lovely, well presented, great service, staff wore quaint tearoom style uniforms and the price was good. I raved about it. I was there at the weekend and have to say I was very disappointed. Whilst there was nothing drastically wrong...

We came in a group of 12 for afternoon tea. The menu showed home made hot spiced punch (alcohol free) to start and a large selection of sandwiches on different breads and choice of fillings. We were not offered a spiced punch and only had 4 sandwiches each with a choice of 3 fillings on white or wholemeal bread. Service...

All of them were delicious and an amazing selection for each person. There was so much we each had a box to take home for later as...

The ground floor tea rooms are a fantastic opportunity to enjoy high quality bakery. I use here for quiet coffee/tea stops with clients and the building / staff all make it a very nice change from other franchise cafe's. Old fashioned charm delivered in a easily praised manner.

Myself and my husband spent a night here last week. Loved the location - lots of cafes, restaurants and bars in immediate area. Lovely accommodation in period house oozing with charm. Rooms are named after various teas. We stayed in Darjeeling which was a lovely room with comfy bed. Loved the little touches like mini cakes etc left on first...

Stayed on business with a couple of colleagues. Great location on Lisburn Road for eating out in evening. Really nice & comfortable rooms. Everything catered for. A refreshing change to faceless hotels. Friendly & helpful staff. Delicious fresh breakfast. Cakes looked amazing but too early! Next time
