Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Always good to escape the rain of England for the rain of Belfast. Good to be back in the land of my fourfathers. This hotel is in a good position near the river as I like rivers and Harland and Woolf Rooms are old but clean which much is a combo that works for me ! Peleton in the gym -sweet ! But the absolute highlight is the slightly older lady who does the breakfast greeting (I’m wary of ages as my first wife is much older ). She is just lovely with a smile and tips about best rooms ! Pay her more. Ps and porridge

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed here for a weekend at short notice. On booking in they upgraded us to a room on the 12th floor. Great views across Belfast, especially at night. The room was great, lovely and big. The bed was ginormous and very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and modern. Tea making facilities were nice but not enough tea bags or milk. I asked for more but they never appeared. The bar for the hotel is very nice, great decor. Breakfast was just OK. Had to ask for a pot of tea, otherwise it's a machine. Orange juice was not fresh, it was concentrate. Very disappointing. Breakfast is all self service which I don't think is fair considering the price we paid. The quality of food was just ok as well. But all in all it was a bit disappointing. The staff were lovely and friendly in the breakfast room. The hotel is well situated, convenient to the city centre.

We stayed for one night while visiting the Titanic Museum. Unfortunately, we weren't overly impressed. The room was not cheap at £200 plus you have to pay £18 just to park your car for the night. In addition, the breakfast was extra at about £17 each. When you check-in there is one price for breakfast versus what we were quoted in the morning. Just seemed confusing. When you add this all up it's just too much money for a family of 4 just wanting a bed for the night. We skipped the breakfast and went somewhere else. I could justify the cost if it was special but it's just another bland corporate hotel. Will avoid in future. On a positive note the staff were friendly and tried their best.

Perfect location in Belfast incredibly handy for shopping and shows. The room was spacious and had everything a family could want, we even brought the dog. The food was excellent and lives up to normal Hilton expectations. There is a local car park

Stayed in Hilton Belfast for 5nights in exec king room. Reception was very nice area, check in was good, they kept our bags due to early arrival so we could go out and see the city. Room 605 was spacious, quiet, overlooking river, super king, lovely feather pillows. Comfortable bed. Had loads power sockets and usb charging points. Lots mirrors and good lighting. Hot/cold adjustable heating, Fridge, tea/coffee, kettle, iron/board, hairdryer, Bath and shower, Large shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, hand-wash, body cream. Magnifying mirror. Fast WiFi which i used in the room for online work meetings, English channel TV. Breakfast was superb, good gluten free choices and various types milk. Only bad point was shower in our room was barely a trickle but water to bath was fast flow. Reported it but no one came to look at it. Central Hotel, would recommend.

Very pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Hilton. The lobby, bar and restaurant were lovely and clearly recently refurbished while the room was very good. We only had four pillows for four of us at first but that was quickly and pleasantly sorted. Staff were lovely. There wasn’t much chat out of them but they were smiling and efficient. The location is perfect and within walking distance of St George’s Market, city centre, City Hall, Titanic Centre etc. This was a one night staycation for us and the value and style of hotel were excellent. Would recommend for families. Also we were very happy with the view from our room (816), perfect for teen photo opportunities and appreciate staff allocation for this room and floor.

The hotel is in a great location and the riverside restaurant in the Hilton was very nice. The room wasn’t the cleanliness I would expect from a Hilton. There were hairs in the bath upon arrival and the kettle had so much limes ale inside it was unusable. The main issue I had was with the payment system though as it wasn’t working properly they stated it was a ‘glitch’ in the system and it charged me 3 times so a 2 night stay cost £900 instead of £300 and I had to wait over a week for the 2 extra transactions to release the funds back into my account. When I spoke to the hotel they weren’t very helpful and stated it was just how the system worked even though I was out of pocket for over a week. A lot of stress having to ring the hotel and bank trying to get it sorted out once I returned home. It completely ruined my trip which was supposed to be a relaxing break.

Dear kb2394, Very sorry to read your review and please accept our sincere apologies over the matters you have highlighted. Such issues are certainly not indicative of the service levels we strive to achieve and will be acted upon in training. I am disappointed that we were unable to resolve the payment system errors quicker - unfortunately we can quickly refund on our side but it can take 3-5 working days for banks to allow it through the system and it is frustrating and an inconvenience. The glitch was unfortunate and the front desk team did try and resolve matters as soon as they were aware. If you are returning at any time in the future please do let us know and we will try and upgrade you by way of apology . Kind regards Mark

Staying at the Hilton Belfast was a really great experience. The staff were beyond helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly and courteous at all times. The hotel, including our room, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for going out and about in Belfast. I’d definitely stay here again.
