Our recent stay at the Hilton was a fantastic experience. We stayed for a concert and after our long drive we arrived to fresh happy and helpful staff. We arrived early so staff took our luggage while we took a walk around the city centre which is just 15mins walk away. also the sse area is only 25 mins walk. The multi story carpark is right beside the hotel and they provide discount parking from staying at the Hilton. We had food in the evening and breakfast next morning and were very happy. (Waffles are recommended. The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel amenities were perfect.we really enjoyed our stay and will return again.
We had a weekend break here last month, and apart from some minor issues it went smoothly. Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with ample sanitation stations around the place. The 2 girls on reception were clearly under pressure with all the check ins/outs, but coped very well and remained professional and courteous throughout. The 3 main staff( Sarah, Stephen and Micheal) we had dealings with were very professional, pleasant and helpful. Not as many housekeeping staff around as normal, but those who were carried out their tasks very well. Room power went out at one stage and we had it back on minutes after reporting it. Breakfast has to be pre-booked within a time slot, which may not suit everyone but it seems to work regarding social distancing. It's very clear that there are staff shortages and issues regarding clean linen etc. but considering we are just getting back on our feet with all businesses struggling with staff and resource issues I would still give this hotel full marks.…
It's a very basic, bring-your-own-kleenex place. The design is "bare bones," except for a random set of wall hangings in the room. Most properties nowadays ask guests to not renew towels, but they renew them anyway. Here, our towels were left for a second day. No one of the five staff with whom we interacted during our stay seemed to have any hotel management training, although all were pleasant and smiled a lot. It's possible that once a staffer acts with more than a smile, they are moved to Hilton's higher level properties. There was a single breakfast staffer on duty the first morning we were there, who seemed to know how to get things done, including the need for a missing magnet on one of the three make-your-own coffee machines. Even so, the price, location, efficient elevators and even the breakfast --which others have disparaged-- will bring us back. Whether you are vegan or a meat lover, there are enough items in the breakfast buffet to provide a nourishing and satisfying breakfast. The evening meal is a different story. There are great restaurants within three blocks of this hotel. We tried the hotel restaurant once and found the food to be poorly prepared, poorly served, and unlike anything anywhere with the same name. For example, we couldn't find onions in the onion rings. The "nachos" had a gooey sauce that might have been meant to pass for cheese. The panini was a small hot dog roll. And so on...…
Four of us stayed one night as it is so convenient to Opera House and we where attending a show. From arrival to checking out we where greeted and treated by a lovely team of staff who couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Martin, Michael and Divia on front desk for their kindness. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Overall a great hotel with fabulous staff and definitely be back again. Highly recommended.
I stayed recently with my mum and my son and we had a fantastic time. The room was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for the 3 of us. The location was also ideal as it is right next to bus stop and in the city centre of Belfast so plenty of things are within walking distance. Having previously stayed in a Hampton by Hilton in York I wasn't expecting too much. The rooms are exactly the same in both hotels but the difference with the Belfast one is the staff. They were so friendly and always chatting to guests whereas their York colleagues barely acknowledged you. This made such a big difference and made us feel very welcomed. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to anyone staying in Belfast.
We recently stayed for 4 nights in the Hampton by Hilton in a very busy central area of Belfast. We were surrounded by busy friendly bars and various restaurants. An ideal location for shopping and not far from many tourist sights. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, friendly and full of local knowledge which informed our choices. All staff were pleasant, but I must give Dibya a special shout out, as her recommendations were very accurate and informative also her lovely manner. A member of our party has a disability and we requested an appropriate room, which we received, very spacious to move about in and an excellent wet room with amenities. We also requested another room on the same floor, which was not essential. We received an upgrade and was placed in the family room next door. During our stay the hotel became very busy, but we never had a delay or had to wait for any request. The breakfasts were always kept topped up with a very good selection. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.…
Clean room, lovely bathroom, friendly staff, car park next door £10 per day, good central location. The rooms are Air-Con, my Wife prefers an open window but I was fine with this. The breakfast bar is a bit small for this size of Hotel which can be little awkward if busy, it's a hot cold & buffet so don't expect 5 star fresh cooked table service but it's all perfectly adequate.
Excellent hotel . Reception staff and dining room staff very helpful and extremely friendly which made my stay so enjoyable. I was in a queen room which was very spacious. It had hairdryer iron tea and coffee making facilities So well done. Would definitely recommend to friends snd family.
Great hotel super friendly staff both on reception and in the bar/restaurant. Room was clean and very comfortable. No noise at all so got a great nights sleep. Perfectly located for the city centre and right next to the bus station so easy to get to and from the airport.
This is a gem of a hotel. Great food and very friendly staff. Convenient location, very clean rooms. It was a really good night's sleep which is rarity for me when staying away from home. The staff were so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. As a former hotel mystery customer, it was hard to find fault. Just wish we had stayed a little longer. Needless to say we will return. Thank you so much for your great hospitality!!
