This is not a Hotel, it's a B&B. It's recently been refurbished, so the actual room was okay, apart from a very strong smell of damp. Main issue is the area, is an absolute slum. I have never seen so much rubbish dumped in the streets. I don't mean general litter, but loads of furniture and empty alcohol and beer cans, skips everywhere full of junk, even a pack of 12 eggs which had baked in the sun. In addition, there are obvious drug addicts everywhere, so it's a bit intimidating walking around. Even the neighbour next door was smoking cannabis at 8.00 a.m. There are also a lot of high powered cars racing on the streets.

We stayed here for 2nights,in a lovely cosy warm room.Everything was very clean, nice comfy bed but pillows a bit hard, but saying that we still slept well.Bathroom was immaculate, with a lovely walk in shower and heated towel rail, which was a nice touch.Room was spacious, and lovely new carpet, which made it feel nice and cosy.Wifi was good, and large tele with all TV channels.Tea,coffee, sugar and biscuits were restocked the following day. Friendly arrival, and booked in quickly. Hotel is near to everything, but on the main road but we didn't hear noise outside even though we had a room facing the road.I would stay here again for just a quick stay,as it was perfect and did our needs. Also we were running abit late on the last day for checking out but they let us have more time,at no extra cost,so that was much appreciated. I would stay here again on a short stay and reasonably priced.

Terrible, they stop the room heating overnight, during winter. Never seen this in any other hotel.I could bearly catch some sleep, used 2 blanchets and I feel like I am going to catch a cold. Basically they stop the heating in the room from 1 am to 7 am, I guess hoping that people won't notice during sleep. Terrible way of doing cheap economy on peoples health.

Booked this hotel as a last minute choice as our previous hotel had cancelled our booking. The hotel looks a little conspicuous from the outside but from the moment we checked in we were pleasantly surprised. The receptionist didnt have much to say but was polite. The room was small but adequate. Very clean and had what looked like a new carpet. Some free toiletries in the bathroom too. Didn't spend much time at the hotel but it was money well spent to have a clean comfy bed to sleep in after a night of partying. Didn't have breakfast (which was included) so can't comment but the eating area looked clean and tidy when I popped my head in. I would definitely return to stay here again.
