Stayed at the Celtic Manor for business travel. Very nice property. The staff was always pleasant and polite......and the room was very nice. I do believe 21.5 pounds for breakfast is a bit insane for just a run of the mill buffet experience.

Stayed here overnight with my daughter as part of her 18th birthday present. Check in was smooth, however our room was very disappointing. A deluxe refurbished twin room on the 7th floor. The view would have been lovely if the windows were not so filthy we could hardly see out of them. The cover on one of the twin beds...

We stayed for 2 nights / 3 days after responding to a promotional email for Half Term breaks with Kids. The selling point was the Kids activities which we thought would be ideal for our two who are 3 and 8 years old. We booked the half board option with Breakfast and Dinner included. We chose the Olive Garden which...

We've stayed here three times now, and the last time represented a significant deterioration in the experience. Totally agree with other comments re waiting for lifts- not at all 5 star! Paid for upgrade room- again agree with other comments re limited availability. Room was refurbished, but smaller than previously. Also interconnecting door provided no sound proofing from conversations next...

We visited the Celtic Manor for a family lunch on Boxing Day but will unfortunately be writing an "average" review. The price for the Boxing Day lunch is half the price of the Christmas Day lunch but it still quite pricey at £50 per head. For this price in a 5 star hotel, I would expect a better service than...

Booked a winter afternoon tea for two. The online menu noted that two of the sandwiches were suitable for vegetarians. I noted on the online form that both of us were vegetarian so could we please have double the suitable sandwiches. When we arrived I once again told the waitress that we were vegetarian, we were expecting double the noted...

I am so glad to read that you had such a wonderful Afternoon Tea Experience and that your request for suitable sandwiches was met so perfectly. We hope to welcome you back to the Resort again, either for Afternoon Tea again, or a longer stay.

Second visit and last. Stayed for 2 nights and paid for upgrade, lovely room but adjoining door could hear everything being said in next room it might as well been wide open. Asked to move and was downgraded with another adjoining door! (No refund) Luckily no one stayed next to us that night so stayed in that room but next...

The interconnecting doors throughout the Resort are undergoing a rolling program to install further soundproofing in each of these rooms. Your...

My wife and I visited Celtic Manor for a three night break, for my birthday. We invested in the Signature experience, and am very glad we did. Overall it was well worth the extra cost involved, and was an excellent, enjoyable visit overall. We cannot speak for the other rooms etc, but found the signature to be top notch. Being...

Really difficult to review. On the plus: v good value dbb rate, lovely staff on the whole, v kid friendly, good food, nice facilities On the minus - lifts at peak hours a nightmare, lovely staff but sometimes hopeless internal communication; often you ask for stuff and it simply never happens. Overall - at points really great, at other points...

I stayed here for 1 night in December 2016 whilst visiting family over the festive season. If you want to feel Christmassy this is certainly somewhere to start! They spare no expense with the decor and have a plethora of activities happening for families, would definitely recommend a visit if you are a family with young children! That being said,...
