We were due to stay at Celtic Manor this evening but unfortunately had to return after a distressing experience for my family. My three year old daughter struggles sleeping in the same room so we were happy to pay extra for a manor superior family which clearly states on the booking this has a separate lounge. After being moved to...

We really like staying at the Celtic manor resort so this time we went for a refurbished room --sadly air conditioning was not man enough & due to traffic from the motor way one couldn't sleep with the patio doors open ---refurbished room wasn't worth the extra new carpet but duvet was not special due to its weight which made...

We came to this resort for Xmas 2016 and booked 2 rooms in the Signature Floor of the hotel as it was Christmas we thought why not. Why not indeed do not do it! On Xmas night we...

Went with friends to have dinner in the Oriental restaurant in the Manor House at the Celtic Manor. Got there in plenty time; no indication of where to park; old outdoor car park now a building site. Checked with staff who said we had to park at the other end of the resort and get a shuttle bus! Since we...

Upgraded to signature suites which was definitely a good idea for us, especially with access to coffee lounge and booked steak on six and were delighted to find they had amazing cabaret dancers to entertain us! They were superb it was like eating the best steak ever on the stage of Strictly!!

I stayed here for a night in a king room after getting a good deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. Hotel lobby is impressive but the rooms are a bit dated for the price. We ate in the grill and the food was very nice, it was a busy Sunday evening though and service was pretty slow so we skipped...

We dined at Rafters in the Twenty Ten clubhouse - scene of a recent Ryder Cup competition. A bit of a trek driving as the clubhouse is well away from the main hotel. very decent meal, good service but very quiet being midweek.
