The Park Plaza is now our go to hotel in Cardiff, always a good stay (as long as you ensure you get a rear facing room). The bathroom was not quite as well maintained as those in the past, however the overall experience was great. Breakfast is also good.

Booked the hotel as a surprise for my husbands birthday...and called to see if I could Upgrade the room...no problem and had a nice tray of goodies upon our arrival,,the room was huge with the biggest bed I have ever slept in and most comfortable. We had booked spa treatments with breakfast the next morning and the staff and total...

First impressions did not do much for us with the dimly lit hall and the professional but freezingly cold check in. But the room was good and the restaurant was great. We really enjoyed our food both at dinner and at breakfast. Location is very convenient even though parking in the area is expensive.

I enjoyed staying at the Park Plaza Cardiff. The staff were charming and attentive and the rooms comfortable. There's a pleasant leafy terrace at the back and a good restaurant and bar. The communal spaces were v pleasant and good for sitting and chatting. There were a few niggles though. If you sleep lightly, don't take a room at the...

Just an overnight business trip but the hotel is well turned out, the rooms are modern and well kitted out. The room I had perhaps wasn't the biggest so couple's might not like it but the bathroom was large and modern and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were friendly, the wifi really easy to connect to and for...

Very nice hotel with welcoming staff - breakfast was the highlight. Room acceptable and comfortable bed (not quite upto Travelodge mattresses though). Only warning is make sure you do not get a room on the front on a Saturday night as you will be disturbed by the pubs / clubs opposite until at least 3am - just as you get...

Stayed here with friends to watch the rugby. Great central hotel with a fabulous pool. All of the staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. The only minor down side is that you have to park in an NCP car park across the road but the discounted rate is £15 per 24 hours.

This was a text book stay at a good hotel. All services from reception to departure were politely carried out with a minimum of fuss. Great breakfast, didn't eat later on. The room was more than good, firm bed, shower with a man sized pressure and not much noise from other guests. Only two nights spent but 10 out of...

Nice enough hotel, unless you plan to attempt sleep before 1am. The pumping base of the function downstairs is great, if your at the party, if not ... A REAL PAIN. Staff a bit matter of fact, lots of can't help attitude with a smile. Budget chains being more helpfulness for less.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I would like to formerly apologise for the noise disturbance you experienced whilst staying with us. We were disappointed to read your comments as all our in-house guests were informed at the time of check in that the hotel was holding a charity event on the ground...
