There is a coded shower block about halfway down the site, which was kept very clean. The showers were really hot and the toilets well stocked with paper. There was no queues that we seen even though the site was full for the bank holiday weekend. We paid for electric hookup which also had a water outlet attached which we...

Can't add much to the previous comments on the location, it's simply stunning, right in the heart of Cardiff, you can easily walk to the markets. Very friendly staff, easy booking and helpful email including easy to follow directions. The pitch was a quite narrow strip of 'grasscrete' which wasn't quite wide enough, so you had to exit the van...

Thank you so much for your feedback. We did have a lot of rain and as such the pitches do get very wet and occasionally quite muddy. It is soul destroying when I have wet muddy pitches as the last thing I want is for my customers to have to walk through mud and then transfer that in to your...

Location , Location & Location. This place is perfect for anyone visiting Cardiff, the pitches are good, the staff friendly and its easy to get into town about 20 min walk. Its dog friendly, the only thing that was missing was access to the WiFi, I suspect that on the day we were there it was off. Walk off the...

Thank you ShiftZZ for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here. It is so central to the city as you point out. The WiFi is available but unfortunately, its just around the vicinity of the office area. So if you are pitched from around pitch 9 onwards, you would not be able to reach the WiFi. Kind...

If you want to see Cardiff and your in a caravan or motor home you won't find a site closer or a manager more helpful although being a little tired and in of something the position of the site makes up for it

Shower/toilet block was good, clean and well kept. Site was near to centre, could be walked in an evening. Has a little cafe onsite, very quiet place. Friendly helpful staff. Would go back again. Well priced place

This park is in a brilliant location for exploring Cardiff. It's also quiet and peaceful. However, the one black mark is for the toilet block. It is scruffy and old. I could cope with that but it was incredibly dirty during the week that we stayed. The toilets, sinks and showers were dirty and the ledges above the skirting boards...

I stayed for one night with my little girl. The toilet/shower block was clean & modern enough. I really enjoyed my shower, the water was lovely and hot. Access is with a 6 digit code, which even my 9yr old could memorise. The tent pitch was fine, with the added benefit of picnic benches all around. We didn't have any...

As a family we have stayed at all sorts of sites over the last 5 years so we have a good appriceation for the varying standards. I thought I would break the review in to different areas so it would be fair. Location This the the sites major strength. We booked the site as we were visiting the Principality Stadium...

This is the second time we have stayed here and will defo be coming back again. Walking distance in to city centre. Dogs allowed. Nice and quiet at night. Staff have always been very helpful. Shower blocks ok but could be warmer but sounds like there are plans to improve these so all good. Thank you for a lovely stay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Few sites can match the unique location of Cardiff Caravan and Camping Park situated in around 300 acres of beautiful parkland in the heart of Cardiff city centre. It makes the perfect base from which to enjoy the many attractions and events in and around the city.Despite its central location, there's a truly rural feel to the Cardiff Caravan and Camping Park, making it easy to forget that the city centre is just a short walk away and the waterfront attractions of Cardiff Bay are within easy reach by road or water bus. There’s no end of great attractions and activities on the doorstep including Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, the Millennium Stadium, National Museum Wales, Cardiff International White Water, the Doctor Who Experience and one of the UK's top shopping centres, with plenty more to discover within an hour’s drive. ... more   less
