Nice place the fact you can't get in between 10am to 5 pm spoils it and nearly £90 a night I could of got something a lot better that I could of used all day Julie the owner a nice lady breakfast very good. The car park very small a struggle to get in and out

Overall needs attention, breakfast good. There was a disagreement with a customer and the landlady on arrival to breakfast with regards to money. Nice sofa in the bedroom. My son lives in Cardiff now, but won't go again as I'm petrified of spiders

Stayed here two nights with my daughter. We were made to feel at home and our room was very comfortable and warm. The bathroom with its rolltop bath was spotlessly clean. Lovely cooked breakfast as well. Our only little gripe was that we could do with being 'let in' between 10am and 5pm as we were slightly weary and wet...

A welcoming hostess who accommodated us at short notice when AirBnB failed to confirm other arrangements. The room was pleasant - although a little on the small side; breakfast was great; and the location was excellent as a base to explore Cardiff and surrounds. The only downside was the lack of locks on the room doors and being unable to...

Fantastic stay. The host was very warm and accommodating. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and the whole set up was exactly what we were after. Wonderful breakfasts, large, clean rooms and great beds. One of the highlights of my time in Cardiff!

A warm, welcoming place with a equally lovely owner to match. Very comfortable stay with a home like feel to the place. Situated next door to a museum and a friendly pub and only 10-15 minutes away from Cardiff bay. The full English at breakfast was to perfection. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

This is a nice little B&B which is in a rural location outside of Cardiff. Not a problem for us as we had a car. The owner was friendly and showed us to our rooms when we arrived, which was quite late, but we had phoned to make sure this was okay. The room was nicely decorated in a quaint...

Stayed at the Laurels as we we're going to a gig in Cardiff. Lovely place, host was very friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy. Rooms clean and comfortable. Julie was happy to cater whatever we wanted for breakfast. Guest house was a short taxi journey to Cardiff and Julie was happy to arrange a taxi for us. Would recommend.

It is a lovely, cosy and very clean house far from noise and traffic. The rooms are well decorated and equipped. We travelled to Cardiff for the Super Cup, so we had to check in earlier than 5 pm, and after the match we arrived back late in the evening. Julie, the owner was very friendly and flexible. We received...

We were a group of 6 lads coming to Cardiff to watch some rugby. All mid 30s with kids and all very respectable individuals. We paid good money to stay here for 2 nights and I wish we hadn't bothered. 10mins from Cardiff City centre is just a lie. We struggled to get taxis to take us out this far...

Hello We did our best in the circumstances! It is not our normal policy to take groups of 6 young men (or women) for sporting events. You may not know that this was as a result of the late non availability of the self catering which had been booked for you all on your behalf. You also received a discounted...
