Ok so.. where to begin?! Firstly, I was quoted £35 a night for my room- I turned up and it's actually £45... great. Secondly- there is no heating in my room so am currently sleeping in my coat- it's freezing. Thirdly, there is no wifi at all in the hotel- what century are we in?! Fourthly the walls are very...

I stayed at this B&B in order to attend a reunion in Cardiff. The price caught my eye as most hotels were asking £150+ for a night. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn that although advertised, there was no parking on site. The unhelpful receptionist/weekend porter, simply informed me to park outside on the road (which was full and...

Stayed here on a weekend as a couple. We could have paid twice the price to stay in an upmarket hotel but preferred to use the cash saved on the evening meal and stay here instead. It was basic but provided everything we needed and there was plenty of hot water in the shower too. Good location - a pleasant...

I stayed at St Hilary's while visiting Cardiff for a wedding. The staff were polite, helpful and even advised me of the best time to leave, bus and train to catch in order to be at the wedding on time. The room was comfortable, warm and had fresh towels and linen. Breakfast was delicious. I disagree with anyone who would...

I found this little B&B delightful. Its not fancy. The TV wasn't huge and had questionable signal, and I couldn't get a wifi signal. That said, in a very pretty 19th century welsh building, the room was very sweet and homely (also old fashioned), as were the staff. Comfy bed and a very clean shower (always a bit scary sharing...

Paid £70 for one night, no parking, cash on arrival however this was not mentioned. The room was very cluttered, dirty, cobwebs, dust and damp, holes in bed linen, bathroom needed a good clean. No working wifi, No plug for bath and shower head was broken.

I booked 3 rooms for a girls evening out in Cardiff with friends and didn't want to pay a lot as we weren't planning on being in the hotel much. This hotel exactly matched our requirements. It is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The hotel is really quite quaint with lots of character, the rooms...

Fantastic small & friendly B&B with the owners that could not do enough for you. Forget your chain hotels where parking, Wi-Fi & breakfast is all extra this is all included in the price. I was in Cardiff Saturday & all the chain hotels wanted £180 plus & I paid £55 & it was fantastic. I was able to walk...
