Started off with a very weird and uncomfortable check in from what I can describe as an obnoxious owner. Asked me for cash before I'd even checked in which the website we booked through didn't state this. Owner tried selling us items from within the hotel because he was selling up and didn't seem to care. The building was lovely...

Very odd check in!!! Room looked like a 1970 bedroom brown bed covers!!!! The owner no where to be found bit Lord Lucan!!!! Noise was horrendous on both nights staying here because the female guests invited in by the owner decided to have a party so all you could hear was screaming, banging and shouting. Rooms were really cold because...

My husband and I stayed here for a night last weekend after deciding to extend our stay in Cardiff but couldn't stay an extra night in our original hotel. And how lucky for us that was! Chris, the owner was a credit to B&B owners. He was friendly and helpful with lots of good tips for us getting around Cardiff....

We stayed here this Thurs/Fri night. Chris was very friendly and a great pleasure to do business with. The house itself is very stunning with original Victorian features still promoting the building. High spec decor throughout the house and our room. Overall we were very impressed and considered the whole stay an excellent one. Thanks chris and very good luck...

I only had the one night which was in a room to the front, sadly a little noisy due to the road. However, Chris the owner was a top bloke, very honest, courteous and welcoming. You need to pay by cash as his card facility wasn't operational on my visit although a cash point is a 5 minute walk down...

The landlord being Chris was very hospitable, very helpful and deserves full support as landlord of this fine residence. Chris put my husband and I into an apartment within this gorgeous hotel, very comfortable and welcoming. Chris was in process of renovation on his own living quarters within the building which did not affect his paying guests, well done Chris,...

We stayed here the night before the rugby. Met the owner who apologised about the building work goin on as he was finishing in the hotel business and changing the building to a house. The rooms were average but a short walk into Cardiff. I would like to wish the owner all the very best for the future he was...

Stayed for one night. The room was actually good, the shower wasn't great but overall not bad for the price. The major issue was with the hotel manager/owner. My girlfriend checked into the room in the afternoon before i arrived and described the check-in conversation as being strange. When we came down to check out in the morning we were...
