2 night stay in a queen suite. Initially was surprised at the lack of light in the room due to only one window within the lounge area overlooking a quad. Bedroom had no window but actually this was really good for sleep. Awake at 8am and it could have been the middle of the night! Bed and pillows really comfy. Good nights sleep and no noise. Bathroom was large and shower and shower gels really nice. Very clean too. Had a fridge complimentary drinks which was nice. A few more supplies required with regard to tea/coffee and pods for coffee machine - provided with one only. Breakfast was ok. Had full Welsh cooked and it was huge but it arrived warm not hot. The next day decided on a sandwich instead. Both mine and husbands arrived with bacon and/or sausage but bread wasn’t buttered so really dry. Service, although slow (staff shortage and influx of people at the same time) was friendly and we were warned that there may be a delay. They were very apologetic so can’t be annoyed with them. Great location for the City and would still book again.

Love this hotel. One of the best I have stayed in, in the UK. Special mention to Jack, Cerys and Jem on reception. They arranged a birthday message written on the mirror, with delicious selection of cakes. The room was large, well laid out with great decor, including local art work. Breakfast was delicious and loved the decor in Marco's restaurant. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again. Thank you.

I stayed here with a friend of mine, in a lovely twin room. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. If you are having breakfast there, try everything. The Eggs Benedict are delicious and are served with either smoked salmon or ham. And yes we tried the Marco Pierre White restaurant too, I would highly recommend eating there. The hotel is central, very quiet considering it’s in the centre of Cardiff. One tip….check your fridge for the free goodies on day one, not on the last day like we did.
