Felin Glais feels rather remote as it is deep in the Brecon countryside? However good directions and sat nav make it easy to find. There is ample parking and a very warm welcome. The house is beautifully restored and set in a pretty garden next to a stream. The bedrooms are very well equipped and luxuriously furnished. Breakfast is a...

Quiet country location 5 minutes driving from Brecon Town. Rooms are furnished with fine furnishings with tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have Harrods towels and toiletries and power showers, one large room has a jacuzzi bath. My wife and I have been staying at Felin Glaid for 7 years with friends for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoy our stay....

David and Chris have paid huge attention to detail and it shines through from the amazing breakfast which lots of fresh fruit, Greek yoghurts to the cooked breakfast platter as good as any I have had. The house is beautiful with a kitchen a place you could spend the day in. I loved the art, the woodwork, the stone work...

Our first stay at Felin Glais whilst attending the Brecon Jazz Festival - and it was great. Dave & Chris very welcoming and hospitable, providing remarkable breakfasts, including a kipper one morning that must have been harpooned to land it! Lovely quiet location. Very comfortable room with everything we needed - and more!

This place surpasses all other B&B's. I think that, on the quiet, this couple are working some kind of strange Welsh alchemy. Wonderful welcome , beautiful rooms and absolutely divine food. Have I said about the food? It is just so Good it is embarrassing for all wannabe cooks! Dinner is sublime, breakfast is outstanding and the hospitality second to...

We had a wonderfully restful stay in this quiet serene country B&B within the Brecon County Park. The guest house is situated in a quiet country lane next to very pretty babbling river that you can easily walk over and next to before heading out for the day or evening. The rooms are very comfortable and very well appointed with...

Having stayed at Felin Glais many times in the last 10 years or so it was a real pleasure to head back there again to see Chris and Dave. As in the past they could not have been more welcoming hosts, and Felin Glais itself looks even more wonderful than we remembered with the gardens and house having been lovingly...

We stayed here for 2 nights recently as part of our honeymoon traveling all around the UK. Of all the B&Bs we stayed in, Felin Glais really stood out. David and Chris are so friendly, and they really went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The house has so much history, and the rooms maintain...

We recently had a 2 night stay at Felin Glais and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. David and Chris are so friendly and hospitable! David was very helpful with directions to relatives we were visiting in Wales and he also recommended two local pubs which served the most wonderful meals.
