We stayed at Priory Farm Mill for three nights (should have been two but we didn't want to leave) Priory Farm Mill is stunning and we would recommend this place to anyone. There are fire pits and bbq's to borrow. We were supplied with local charcoal and fire wood and spent most evenings sat round them listening to the wood...

Lovely family run campsite with well kept facilities, fun quirky signage, a great emphasis on the environment and the friendliest chickens I've met. Will definitely be back for walking in Brecon Becons!

This is a quiet, special campsite with just the right blend of minimal amenities and beautiful surroundings. Susie makes you feel very welcome right from the start and there are lots of thoughtful touches such as log seats, recommended walks and proper recycling facilities. All the campers enter the spirit of this and the peacefulness and friendliness are genuine.

Lodgings for a boys (in their 40's) weekend. One always arrives at a new camp site with a sense of trepidation. Will it live up to billing? Will the owners be 'normal'? What are the toilets like? This place is fabulous on all counts. Fire trays, river running past, lovely owner, good parking, great amenities. I've decided that I will...

What I like about this site more than anything is how much they've thought about your comfort and simplicity of your stay, from the very hot showers, clean easy to access bathrooms, small charging stations for electronics to self-contained fire pits. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and a small river runs beside the whole site to help lull you to...

Honestly one of the nicest campsites i've been to in a long time. We loved the fact that they only allow a certain amount of people at any one time to make sure everyone has a great experience. The farm itself and areas to pitch in are beautiful and right by a lovely river and small waterfall. Facilities have been...

My husband, 3 year old and 9 month old spent 2 nights here this weekend. We've only been camping once before in an over crowded, noisey campsite over bank holiday with very loud neighbours and children playing ball games against our tent until very very late at night so this campsite in comparison was heaven. There's a no noise policy...

Just as we'd hoped, a perfect campsite, lovely riverside setting, friendly efficient owners who have thought of everything. Loved the fire-trays, cooked a great dinner and breakfast on ours! Ideal for an easy stroll to Brecon town for pub and shopping, with interesting stop at the Cathedral on the way. Hens were great company and tried to stop us leaving!...

I didn't want to write a review for Priory Mill Farm campsite as I didn't want too many people knowing about this perfect spot. If you like a quiet, beautiful setting at one with nature this place is for you. Sitting by the river at night beside our fire pit with a glass of wine in my hand the worries...

Lovely campsite, small but not over booked so plenty of space and no waiting for showers, toilets, facilities etc. Close to Brecon with an easy few minute walk! Lovely river running along length of campsite, my friend and I and our dogs enjoyed our stay! :)

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If you are looking for a small-scale, low-impact, secluded place to camp, our riverside meadow may provide it. It's only a ten-minute walk from the Georgian market town of Brecon, yet the only buildings visible are our farmhouse and watermill, which provide the perfect backdrop to the camping meadow. Alternatively there is also a one bedroom holiday cottage (advance booking essential). The Granary is accessed up a flight of stone steps beyond the farmhouse. Quiet and secluded, overlooking a part of the river and ancient woodland that is separate from the campers meadow, the cottage also has its own garden. ... more   less
