We stayed one night in room n3, my husband, myself and our son. The place is very tastfully decorated, the location is amazing, it is a photographer's paradise. Long boats in the little canal nearby are very interesting to look at. We walked 15 min to the village for a lovely pub dinner in the evening. Breakfast in the B&B...

The Ty Newydd B&B must be one of the best places we have stayed in. It was very unpretentious and warm and friendly and quiet. The rooms were simply but tastefully decorated with all modern amenities in this rustic B&B. Our hosts could not have done more for us and the full-English breakfast set us all up for the day....

Lovely B&B beautiful setting. Family very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble Only one suggestion towels for bathroom are very small could do with more than two bath towels maybe bath sheets instead.

Stayed two nights with my other half en route to a wedding in Gower. Lovely, tranquil location next to the canal and within sight of the Brecon Beacons. Off the beaten track but still close to the main Brecon-Abergavenny road and some great little country pubs. The house itself is lovely with plenty of period charm. Our room (#1) was...

Loved it! Two nights away from city life and it was just perfect. Very welcoming hosts, great food and beautiful scenery. Also really pleased with the area: excellent walks along the canal, great food at The White Swan (1 mile away) and quirky hidden gems in Brecon - The Hours bookshop / cafe and the Jazz Cafe at Brecon Theatre....

It was great to do a walk from the B&B this year, and we managed to make it to Fan y big! Hoping to visit next time during the...

We rented two rooms for 5 nights over the festive period and had a really wonderful much needed break. Very cosy and comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean and beautiful views overlooking the Welsh countryside. We love the area have rented narrow boats in past at the nearby Cambrian Cruisers during summer time (which is also excellent). Living abroad it is great...

We have stayed with Rachel and Sid a number of times and are never disappointed. They are both warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious with a wide variety of choice. The B&B is well located walking and other attractions are available so there is something for everyone.

A great 2 day break on the way to north Wales. Walking 6.5 miles along the towpath of the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal was made even better by the lovely weather. It is advisable to book for dinner at any of the nearby restaurants.

Amazing B&B in the middle of the Brecon Beacons. Suitable for all ages and very quaint. Great comfortable stay after a days fishing/walking etc. Lovely room which was very clean and quiet with a nice en-suite bathroom.

“Very comfortable double bed (king-size I think) with tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a good shower that was quick to get hot. There is a fridge in the breakfast room for guests to put things in so ideal for white wine to bring out later to laze in the conservatory or garden on a warm afternoon/evening.”
