Owners were welcoming and couldn't do enough for Myslef. Absolutely stunning original features in the home, breakfast choice was outstanding all fresh and cooked to perfection. We'll worth a visit if you are in Wrexham.

Worthenbury Manor is full of character and gives the feeling of a Country House Hotel but in miniature. Are spacious rooms make staying here very comfortable and the quietness is so intense that the birds singing is the loudest thing you're likely to hear. I have said on numerous occasions that when staying away breakfast can make or break the experience. At Worthenbury Manor the breakfast is outstanding. Freshly prepared, of course, but with a large selection of fresh fruit, cereals and a delicious cooked platter with home made preserves to add the final touch. Would we stay here again? You bet we would. Thank you Ian & Elisabeth your hospitality is outstanding.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciated the trouble we go to to bring the best of local produce to your breakfast table. Worthenbury Manor is our home and we are delighted to share it with our guests. As such it is a Country House complete with authentic period features. As one guest said, 'It is like staying at a National Trust Property.' Another said, 'Stately home from home'; however we wouldn't go that far. Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. We hope to see you again when your in the area and looking for a special place to stay.

I write this with a heavy heart but the little things make all the difference. We couldn’t find this place due to lack of signage and no phone signal. We circled the village for over twenty minutes and unfortunately had a mishap during this time which effectively ruined our holiday but am not going into detail here. A local eventually guided us to the location. To say this place had no signage is an understatement. Tiny sign behind a an overgrown bush. The owner claimed his neighbour wouldn’t allow him to have a sign!! I’m writing this to encourage the owner to put up a sign to avoid this happening again. I just want to forget about my stay here. Nothing could make up for it.

We are truly sorry our guests had difficulty finding us, it can be difficult in the dark and were totally unaware of the degree of trouble it caused them. If you do have problems of any sort do let us know so we can try and make ammends. It's true the our sign is no bigger than a normal house sign, but then we are a family home where guests are welcome, not a hotel. It is also true our neighbours objected to B&B signs etc outside, (The Manor was divided in 1952,) and we have respected that wish. Thank you for pointing out our sign was becoming covered by branches, these have now been trimmed back. Potential guests please note Worthenbury Manor is in a very peaceful rural location consequently the strength of some mobile signals is not very good, but this is out of our control. For those of you contemplating visiting Worthenbury Manor you can find details of how to find us on our web site, alternatively we hope the following directions will be helpful. Worthenbury Manor is on the B5069 between Bangor on Dee and Malpas. Coming from Bangor on Dee you will pass the village sign, the road then bears sharply left, in daylight you will see our dutch gables across fields on the right. As you come into the village you will pass a white house on the right and then a wooden fence. Our driveway is on the right in a gap in this fence just before the hump back bridge. On the left there is a sign saying 'Quinton' and on the right a dark wooden sign with 'The Manor' on it. Come down the drive, you will see the large white entrance doors in front of you, please park on the right. Parking on the left is for our neighbours. Don't rely on satnav, our post code covers the whole village, and it will leave you by the village church, not at The Manor. If you have problems please ring us on 01948 770342.

Lovely, lovely, lovely, said it all before! Ian spoilt us once again; where else can you roam around a manor being treat and fed like a Lord, in an amazing setting where you can hear owls at night, watch woodpeckers feed right outside the window and hear no traffic - magic!

What a find this place is! In an idyllic setting the Manor is a superior b&b with elegant rooms. Every detail is catered for to make your stay comfortable. The room was wonderful with its antique furniture, fireplace and 4 poster bed. A varied selection of teas and coffees available and a good selection of brochures showing places of interest and local features. The breakfast was immense with an array of continental options as well as traditional cooked items. There was so much, I could have been eating til lunchtime. Ian is a wonderful host, welcoming and helpful with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely look to book again when I'm next in the area. Beats a boring hotel chain by a mile. Thanks Ian.
