Sarah and Mark at The Ferns Guesthouse were very welcoming from the moment we arrived and their hospitality, friendliness and desire to make our holiday experience a memorable one never waivered. Each day they would provide us with the weather report and recommendations as to how to spend our day dependent on the weather and our energy levels. Everything from local walks to scenic drives and places to eat. They recommended Harlech Beach with great views of the mountains. On the day that we went we were blessed with beautiful sunshine and very few visitors which suited us perfectly. They even suggested somewhere to eat and trusting their opinion we drove an extra 10 miles and weren't disappointed. The ferns was clean, modestly decorated and made us feel at home. The breakfast choices were impressive and included smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast. Although we had the smaller room with the sink in it we would definitely stay there again.

A massive thank-you to Sarah and Mark who made our stay in Betws-y-Coed an amazing experience. They are wonderful hosts! They are so helpful, informative and welcoming. This guesthouse truly deserves every one of its 5 star reviews. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfasts were delicious. The guesthouse is a very short walk into the centre of the village and a perfect base to explore Snowdonia. A bus stop is located right outside and there is some parking space on the driveway. It was really nice getting to know Sarah and Mark and the other guests during our stay. If you're thinking about staying here- do!

Sarah and Mark were wonderfully welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the breakfast was simply delicious. This was the first Bed and Breakfast we stayed at (as a family of four) and it was a brilliant experience. I would highly recommend a stay here to any couples or families looking to stay in Betws-y-Coed.

Hello Samhitat2017, Thank you very much for your kind words. It was really lovely having you all stay with us and we're honoured to be the first B&B that your family has stayed at! We hope that you try out some more as there are many very good ones out there! We were impressed that you managed to pack in a lot of North Wales' activities and attractions during your stay and even managed to dodge most of the showers. We hope that you can visit us again someday ....there may be one or two adventures that you haven't tried yet? All the very best Sarah and Mark

We wanted a trip away but where a bit apprehensive to book anywhere due to Covid 19. We decided to risk it so booked a room only at The Ferns. We are so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the front door our minds were put at ease. It was immaculately clean everywhere and Sarah and Mark have made the environment extremely safe for everyone. We had a lovely greeting from Mark who made us very welcome. Our room had everything we needed and was to a very high standard. We had a very comfortable stay and will definitely be returning Sarah and Mark were there when we left to check that everything had been ok for us. They are a lovely couple who obviously take what they do very seriously. I would go as far to say it's the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Thank you Sarah and Mark See you next time.
