We stayed here for 4 nights and can’t praise it enough. Tracey is a fabulous hostess and makes you welcome right from the start. The room was spotless! Seriously spotless! Beautifully decorated and severally really lovely extra touches - gorgeous dressing gowns, milk and water in fridge, chocolates, coffee tea etc etc. Really comfy bed and an amazing view. The breakfast is to die for which meant we’ve eaten far too much. Tracey can’t do enough for you and made our stay really lovely. If you’re coming to Betws-y-Coed then look no further than Glan Lugwy

Booked through a recommendation from a friend and arrived quite late as having travelled from kent and having to deal with a lot of motorway traffic,. Despite arriving at half 10 in the evening we recieved a warm welcome from tracey who took us to our room and surprised my partner, who was celebrating her birthday that day, to balloons and a complimentary glass of wine. The glan Llugwy guest house went above and beyond our expectations and continued the next day with an amazing breakfast, including fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, juices and of course a lovely fry up. Would highly recommend to all coming to north wales. Jack and maisie

We stayed at the guest house for two nights, first of all Tracey contacted me as I had put that we were coming away for a birthday celebration, she offered to decorate the room and we had a complementary welcome drink- not just a standard beer, a local sourced lovely ale. It was great! The room was SPOTLESS. We were really impressed with the room and the bathroom was lovely. Bed was comfy, and there were some lush dressing gowns! We stayed in room 2 with a private bathroom, we had a lovely view of the river across the road which helped to add to the romance of it all. The breakfast you could pick what you want, and it was really delicious. They had golden yolk eggs which are my fave! And you don’t get them very often in places so I was impressed with the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend to anyone who was looking to stay in the area. The host also gave recommendations for food and things to do in the area. All round 5*s
