This was a great location as it was close by for our trek up Snowdon. We had read the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The cottage is very close to the village with a few shops and eateries that all looked very nice. with helping small businesses in mind we purchased some really lovely slate products from the lady at the carriage cafe, these were really reasonably priced so worth a look when you pass by on your way to the village. We were given a lovely room with nice views and we were able to eat breakfast in the room due to COVID restrictions. The breakfast was nicely presented and delicious with lots of choices on offer. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and lots of biscuits!!! The hosts were very friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for having us and warm regards😊 T & R Sawers

Nigel and Barbara's B&B was an absolute pleasure to stay at. In these 'Covid' times when things can be very tough, they manage to make you feel very homely, very secure and very well looked after. Superb measures in places to obtain fresh little bottles of milk, chilled water etc at any point during your stay, even little chocolates left on the fresh cups near your room. Whilst they cannot service your rooms (as to be expected) it was made very clear that anything we needed they would be over the moon to help with. We thank them for their local advice, loan of torches, umbrella's and helpful maps. We are missing their wonderful breakfasts. On our itinerary a visit into Betws-y-coed (minutes away with a shortcut), Swallows Falls (again easy reach by car or 45 minute walk through woods etc), Zip World - we braved Velocity!! again only 30 mins drive away, plus we ventured up Snowdon via the Snowdon ranger path. A wonderful stay in Wales. My only advice to people travelling to this area is to pre-book meals out if required, with reduced capacity and a popular village it was a little difficult.

Thank you for a wonderful review. We have tried hard to balance the Covid-19 requirements to keep everyone safe and secure without spoiling the stay and it's great to know that we have done that effectively. You certainly packed a lot in to your stay yet there is still loads more to do. Stay safe and well and we hope to see you for more adventures in the future. Best wishes Barbara and Nigel

Couldn’t fault anything at this B&B a few minutes walk from the centre of Betws-y-Coed and central for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales in general. Nigel and Barbara were excellent hosts, maintaining a good balance between friendliness and professionalism and certainly had things well organised in relation to Covid measures, making us feel very safe there. We stayed in Room 1 which was large and had a generous en-suite. Breakfasts were excellent and good choice. Lovely gardens and ample parking. The B&B is about 7 minutes walk to the village via a footpath through countryside which has no street lighting but the hosts can provide a torch. This was no problem for us but there is an alternative which would be a longer walk along the main road or of course a very short drive. One tip if visiting the area under Covid restrictions, think about booking visitor attractions and restaurants in advance to avoid disappointment. All in all we definitely recommend this B&B.

Just had a lovely few days staying at Tyn-y-Fron ! The COVID measures that Nigel & Barbara have put in place did not impair our stay in any way. Our room was lovely , it was a great size and faultlessly clean. The breakfasts were lovely and really set you up for the day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Barbara and Nigel and they are lovely hosts. We would definitely recommend it if you are staying in Betws-y-Coed !!
