I arrived quite late but was warmly greeted by Ian. The house itself is stunning Ian and Janet have managed to retain the lovely character of the house but made it modern and welcoming. The sourounding countryside has to be seen to be believed. My room was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bathroom facilities were excellent with a...

Returned home on Tuesday after staying for 7 nights at this really lovely Guest House. Nothing was to much trouble for Janet and Ian, the kind and friendly owners. The room was always clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great also, loved both the Smoked Salmon and Smoked Haddock. Both Janet and Ian were always a mine of information for...

Janet and Ian own and run a beautiful guest house overlooking the hills and river in Betwys-y-Coed. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The fabulous, freshly cooked breakfast is highly recommended, all locally sourced ingredients. The rooms were immaculately clean and had everything you needed for your stay.

We spent the Easter weekend here- (it was a Birthday gift from my Partner). The accommodation is outstanding - ideally located with stunning views and within easy walking distance into Betws y Coed itself. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and were both clean and comfortable. The hosts, Janet and Ian, were very warm and welcoming - nothing was too...

We stayed here for 3 nights in March as a surprise for my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. The b&b is ideally located just outside Betws y Coed, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our favourite haunt during our stay was the stables, where there was live...

Many thanks for your kind comments. We are pleased you managed to see the Woodpecker whilst having your breakfast. Pros: beautiful large room, super spotlessly clean, quiet and peaceful, nice breakfast, and friendly hosts! Cons: really the only thing is that the house is a bit outside town. But we did walk to TyGywr pub/restaurant one evening.

Many thanks for your kind comments. We are a 10 minute walk to the centre of town which enables our guests to have some peace and quiet. Stayed for two nights and slept amazingly well because of the comfortable bed. Lovely friendly hosts and delicious, generous breakfast (and a choice of breakfast too). A good location just outside the town but easy walking distance.

We have just finished a four night stay at this lovely bnb. It is very clean, comfortable and ideally situated for beautiful walks. The owners were very friendly and more that happy to suggest local walks and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Betws-y-Coed is a short stroll away.

We were a party of 3 and booked the 3 bed family room. Rooms were very well furnished and the house very historic and quaint. Very nicely decorated and the usual sumptuous welsh breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and offered lots of suggestions for eating and walking. Driveway is a little difficult to manuver but worth the effort. Highly recommended.
