Stayed here for two nights and had an excellent stay. The host are lovely friendly people who are on hand to advise you of anything about the surrounding area should you need it, the location is great and just a short walk into the village of Betws-y-Coed. Rooms are spotlessly clean with everything you could need and a few extras and breakfast was excellent with a huge choice & locally sourced food which you can tell. Can’t fault it and would definitely return & recommend.

My wife and I a wonderful short break at Glyntwrog House. Alison and Steve were very welcoming, offering lots of knowledgeable advice on places to visit in the Betws-y-coed area. The en-suite bedroom was very clean and beautifully decorated with a large bathroom and lovely view of the of the forest opposite. We slept very well and had a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit salad, choice of cereal and cooked breakfast. We thoroughly recommend , scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Overall it is a great B&B and would highly recommend

As I’ve never stayed in a guesthouse before I was a little skeptical to be staying in one, but I soon changed my mind. As the saying goes first impression matters; we were greeted by Alison and Steve who were very welcoming and made us feel at home, so much so as my other half went down to breakfast one morning without his shoes as that’s what he’s used to at home! We had a wonderful break; very relaxed, quiet and peaceful stay here. From the outset I could see that the Hosts were well organised as the email received included lots of information to read up beforehand. Alison and Steve were very helpful with their breadth of knowledge of the area, giving us advice on where to go. They have also put all the necessary procedures and protocols in place regarding Covid-19 to ensure you feel safe and alleviate any anxiety you may have prior. Our room was lovely, clean and comfy and I slept well which is unusual for me. Breakfast was exceptionally amazing; there’s so much to choose from both hot and cold – not one or the other but both! The great thing is they cater for your needs as we don’t eat pork they ensure they had vegan sausages; we thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast and the Bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon is delicious. Also plenty of teas, coffees and fresh orange juice available. We spent 5 nights and our room was cleaned every day and clean towels provided. We also look forward to coming back to our room after our day out as there would be the extra treat of chocolates to have with refreshment provided in our room. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends or family. Thank you Alison and Steve! Janet and Mike

The House is nestled into beautifully scenery and ideal location for those wanting to walk Snowdon. We were given lots of helpful information about climbing Snowdon (which is about a 20min drive away), including which P&R to park at, given a printed timetable of the bus service and a packed breakfast sandwich to take with us. The hosts were so attentive, and very responsive to our texts. We had a room right at the top of the House which had stunning views, plus it was very tastefully decorated, clean and ideal for a couple. Parking at the House was easy and out of the way from the road, so felt very secure. The House is a short walk from Betws-y-coed itself, so plenty of choice for places to eat.
