Gareth & Rana are the most friendly & hospitable owners you could wish to meet.They both welcome you to their gorgeous,luxurious property,& make you feel entirely at home throughout your stay. We stayed in the beautiful Alice suite,which was way beyond our expectations. Breakfast caters for every taste,you will find yourself spoilt for choice. We cannot recommend Afon Gwyn highly...

We visited Afon Gwyn for two nights after booking it online. We were not at all disappointed. We stayed in a beautifully appointed and spacious room with everything you could possibly require. The ensuite was large and well equiped too. The home was beautifully clean and relexing. Our breakfast was lovely and they were happy to supply excellent vegan options....

I found myself in Bala late Saturday afternoon needing a bed for the night in the Betws-y-Coed area. First call and proprietor Gareth couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Arrival in the dark was tricky is so much as signage is difficult to spot travelling South on the A470. Bag carried to my room on arrival and advice given...

To paraphrase the Ike & Tina Turner song, Afon Gwyn Country House is Simply the best, better than all the rest. This was our second visit in the space of a few months. Stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Room was fab with lots of space and over looking the garden at the back of the house. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Breakfast was lovely and very well cooked. A lovely B&B in a lovely setting.
