Lovely hotel, right in the middle of the town... Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and a drink. We stayed in the annex part of the hotel which was lovely... Very quiet, easy to find, easy to park.

We had a lovely family lunch on the outside tables with covers over and heat lamps, where dogs are welcome. Very helpful when we asked for a vegan panini which was not on the menu, could not have been nicer. And it was delicious too!! All brought out quickly and together, will be back!

One of the few places in picturesque betws-Y-coed where food is served all day.. We were quite late to reach the town for lunch and found this gem of a place after a bit of searching.. Great food.. Great service.. Welsh lamb was simply delicious.. Local beer was very good as well👍👍

Located in the centre of Betws-y-Coed with plenty of parking. Parking charges apply, but is included in the room price. We paid £90 for a room only for three. At first I thought it was quite expensive, but compared with other hotels in Betws-y-Coed it is a good price. Breakfast was available for an extra charge. There are plenty of...

After a long day travelling and walking in Snowdonia we called in for a well deserved rest. The Stables were packed so we wandered round to the grill bar where the staff were very helpful. We were told of the likely short wait. Charming staff, a lovely pint and prompt service made us all smile. When the food arrived, fish,...

We visited for a days walking around the area and needed to refuel for the afternoon. What a Sunday lunch we had, good size portions and well cooked. The Yorkshire puds were the best I've had for a long time. There was a good choice of food on the menu and at a fare price.

We stayed at the Royal Oak for two nights to celebrate my husband's birthday. We stayed in the Stables Lodge - our room was very spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. All the staff that we came across during our stay were lovely and made us feel really welcome. We had breakfast in the Grill Room, everything was beautifully cooked....

What a disappointment! Booked DBBin a superior double!! It was dire with stains on furniture, no heating working- in March and a dribble of a shower. The dining room was closed for a party- and no notice for guests - we had a very poor pub meal and didn't bother with the pudding!! The only plus?! Was that the manager...

Stayed in a deluxe room. Apparently we were upgraded from superior room and then attempted to charge us extra. Room comfortable but a little dated. Staff nothing special. Food in the grill bar very good and lovely breakfast. Paid £125 which was not great value although they were going to charge £160 until I gave them our booking confirmation.
