Dolgethin Guest House in North Wales is a Victorian House which lies at the west end of the spectacular Snowdonia Village of Betws-y-Coed.It has a magnificent view to the River Llugwy in the front and a mature forest making fifty shades of green at the rear of the house.Betws-y-Coed is the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park. The Snowdonia National Park in North Wales covers more than 800 square miles, it is a region of haunting beauty and grandeur, of wild rocky mountains, hidden valleys, cascading rivers, still glacial lakes and deep forests. North Wales is an old country; geologically old, with some of the most ancient rocks in the world; old in its economy, based still on the immemorial pastoral or sheep-rearing way of life; old in culture, with traditions in poetry and music that may date back to the Bronze Age; and old in language, for the Welsh you will hear spoken everywhere in the mountain villages is Europe's oldest living language.

A thoroughly unenjoyable experience at this b&b with ‘modern’ comforts. Our room was far from modern and had a bathroom that did not even have a sink or mirror in it, the sink was located in the bedroom so is very unhygienic and inconvenient and the room itself was very dated.

We had a great stay at this charming guest house, and our dogs were warmly welcomed. The owner was ever so lovely and took good care of us all. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable and clean. We highly recommend it. Warsan, John and Luna the Labrador;-)

I’ve just found out that I had a surprise weekend booked in July for our anniversary. Imagine when I get back from a drive that my partner is furious that her weekend that she booked has been cancelled by the hotel, despite it being booked over 6 weeks ago. My partner booked

Absolutely furious with the attitude of the owner....I booked about 2 months ago and received an awful email in regards to my debit card expiring. I arranged a new card and booked a quadruple room Today I received an email to say they'd moved me to a twin room albeit I had

when making a booking with card details it should be valid one, the one provided expired way before arrival. yes, did advise through booking.com that a valid card should e provided and it was. no provider wished to have or create double booking but it does happen and than the first thing an operator would do is try and solve it which is what was done but that was not good enough. the room you were moved to is not a twin, it can be either as it has a double bed and a single one this is a slightly different light on this unfortunate case

The location is good and the room was fine. However, the owner is lacking in people skills. Her "waitress" was lovely. She would be better at front of house. My main complaint was the lack of choice at breakfast. It seems only a full Welsh is available - or parts thereof. No
