We stayed here over the August Bank holiday. The owners were extremely welcoming and showed us around the room upon arrival. The love, attention to detail and service was surreal. We had a late check-in and they greeted us with a smile, wine and chocolate marshmallows. The room was clean, soft sheets and cosy. It was very homely. Great location to reach some of Snowdonia's best spots and walking distance to Betws-y-coed. The breakfast and service in the morning was good. Breakfast starts from 8.30am and one morning we left to visit Snowdon pre 8am, we were kindly accommodated with a packed lunch ready and waiting to take with us and again sent away with another the day we departed from our stay with a long journey home. Overall our experience was unmatched. We will absolutely return next time we are in town. Thank you so much Paul and Elena for welcoming us into your home, excellent hospitality. Dan and Emma

I booked a room at the Dolweunyyd as a last minute impulse ahead of a few days in Abersoch with my wife. I'm happy to say that neither of us were disappointed. The owners, Paul and Elena, are warm welcoming hosts who clearly want you to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding area and all that it has to offer. The B&B is well situated at the quieter end of Betws y Coed and within easy walking distance if you want to go into the town centre. No problem with parking either as you can park on the road outside the accommodation or contact Paul and you can park to the side of the house. Either way its no problem. We stayed in the twin room which was spotlessly clean as well as cozy as were the en-suite facilities. In the morning Elena will set you up for not only the day but the rest of the week (probably!) with a huge delicious full English breakfast! The size of that sausage! If you've never been to North Wales before, Betws y Coed is well situated for a host of different adventures. Whether it be walking, climbing or zipping across slate caverns at the nearby Zip World in Blaenau Ffestiniog (an absolute must!) there is plenty of choice. Its also very handily situated to get down to the coast in and around the Abersoch area. All in all our short stay was most enjoyable and made more so by both Paul and Elena. My wife and I look forward to returning in the near future.

We came to Wales for a hiking weekend. We really loved this B&B. The room was cosy - not everyone’s taste. The food and hosts were excellent ! The location is fantastic- really quiet but still walking distance to town. We got great hiking recommendations- which was a bonus:)

Me and my sister stopped here the weekend of 21st Sept, we travelled down from Leeds to visit snowdonia and booked this hotel for our end of the day overnight stay. We meet the owners on arrival very friendly but soon made our way into the town for the evening after a quick change for something to eat and drink and the room seemed lovely. We had a good nights sleep and had a really good breakfast. The WiFi was a bit hit and miss but we didn’t really need it. We had a lovely overnight stay and a beautiful house filled with lots of character , I’m sure if we got the magnifying glass out we would of found faults but we were not staring in 4 in a bed. It suited our needs supported by lovely hosts in a fabulous location.
