A friend and I took a weekend trip to Snowdon and very pleased we came across this place on booking.com. Didn’t get there till around 11.30pm, however everything was made really easy with directions and entry to our room. Very nice clean room, very comfortable bed and slept like a log. Very good Covid measures in place. Had food and a few ciders on the second night in the bar. Great food and cider. Excellent value for money for everything. Again good Covid measures in the bar. If you are looking for a place to sleep, shower and explore north Wales I would totally recommend a stay here. 100%

Stayed here for one night whilst passing through on a running adventure. Was the perfect stop - very clean, comfy twin beds. Gary was lovely and very helpful. Tea and biscuits in the room was a lovely touch. Basic accommodation but just what I needed. Lovely quiet village with a Londis village store opposite so perfect for restocking on supplies. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

The Eagles is excellent on all levels. Really friendly and helpful owner Gary and all his staff. So welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and well maintained. Nice firm beds. Snuggly warm duvets! Lots of showers and clean loos. The pub downstairs is pleasant and frequented by the locals as well as us residents. The village is small and interesting. Great walks from the pub. Spectacular scenery / hills / little Welsh farms all around. The location is perfect - only 20 minutes to Plas Y Brenin and approx 30 minutes to Trefan. There are lots of mountain biking routes on the big hill / mountain above the pub / village. Really competitive and reasonable price. All in all - you won't be disappointed - this is a 'find'!! Thanks Gary and team for looking after us. Tim and Will

The rooms are pleasant and clean. It was ideal for our trip to Snowdon the next day, I had the family room which was spacious and beds were comfortable. Building has lots of character and beautiful views in the morning. I was super impressed by the customer service we got after a long drive from London and found ourselves arriving when all the local restaurants were closed - wasn't disappointed.

Great budget place in smashing village a bit off the beaten tracks. Dedicated, friendly publican and staff. Things are well thought out. Big drying room, shared kitchen, kettle and tea in our cosy twin room and beautiful views to local hills. Loved the local amenities and going for a drink downstairs in our local! Village is fantastic with local organic returnable glass bottled milk. As it closes, the pub opens... synchrony. We loved our stay relaxing here after 11hour Snowdonia day. Note, bunkhouse is open but pub is shut Mon and Tues and does meals on certain days. Plus, keep this place quiet so it stays so nice!
