We stayed for the Bank Holiday weekend and, despite the COVID restrictions, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. There were plenty of picnic benches in the garden, which was lucky as seating was an issue in the pubs (outside seating only) in the village. We ate our dinner in the garden one evening, although it was only a takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was served in the room, but was good quality and plentiful. Normal breakfast service will be starting on 17 May. Marie and Sid are a really nice couple and I look forward to returning once Wales is fully open.

Returned for our Emerald wedding anniversary stay .(55 for those not in the know) This was our seventh stay as we sometimes come in June. Marie and Sid had really gone to town on the safety of everyone with separated breakfast tables, even moving the settees out of the conservatory to spread the tables further. All rooms are misted prior to guests first use to sterilize them and then left for each guest. The daily room service has had to be abandoned but anything that is required (from towels to tea bags, milk to biscuits ) can be requested and left outside the room. Our stay was different to previous stays but certainly worth experiencing. Sid and Marie were their usual friendly selves ensuring that everything was safe and to pandemic standard. At no time did we feel uneasy and we hope to return again next year.

The hard work the staff put into achieve a covid safe guest house is very much appreciated. We stayed in two different rooms which were both very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Great location for accessing Snowdonia. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Couldn’t recommend staying here more. B and B was very well kept (and socially distanced), stunning views from the room and garden. Complimentary breakfast was lovely and very needed each day. The location is just out of a peaceful village with lots to do within walking distance or a short drive. The owners, Marie and Sid, were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. We were well looked after throughout our trip and we will definitely be coming back!
