What a great B&B. Loved the location, within walking distance of the village centre but far enough out not to be too busy/noisy. A perfect base for spending time in/around Betwys Y Coed and exploring further afield. Jackie and Gary are great hosts, and made us feel welcome and very safe with the COVID measures they have in place. Look forward to visiting again.

Good location, close to all the spots we wanted to visit, and you can hear the stream when you open the window! We had the ground floor twin room which was a bit cramped for our needs, so don't come with too much luggage. The hosts did the best they could in light of Covid-19 with strict new rules in place and a limited menu at breakfast. We loved the fruit salad - everything is quite simple but still satisfying. The room was clean, but there was dust behind the sink and spiders, so I had to borrow a hoover to sort it. The hosts met our needs of more teabags, extra bed sheet, an umbrella and more. But at times, I did feel like I was an inconvenience asking for things. Particularly receiving some of the texts from the host, e.g. when arriving late for breakfast, I felt like I was a school pupil being told off rather than being on holiday. I also noticed we didn't get the same level of attention or recommendations as other guests, unsure why. But if homely B&Bs are your style, then go for it. It was a relaxed stay overall.

Thank you for your review. Just to set the record straight the extensive breakfast menu is exactly the same as last year with everything from porridge to smoked salmon, a full cooked breakfast and multiple light bites. In all we have 26 items on our breakfast menu plus gluten free, vegan sausages and 3 types of milk! We do ask guests to come down for breakfast around the time arranged and not 5 minutes before we are due to close the kitchen as the level of work to keep you and your mother safe is now triple what it is in a normal year. As explained at the time and to which you agreed, we are not allowed to enter rooms that are occupied due to Covid restrictions even to remove a spider (or change your mother's sheets after 1 night!) This time of year we do see an increase in our 8 legged mosquito catchers coming into the warm, it's one of the mamy wonders and differences of living in the countryside. Whilst we do thoroughly clean each room between guests the little fellas do occasionally slip by us for which we apologise. We are just a hardworking couple trying to keep all our guests and ourselves safe (in these challenging times) and provide an enjoyable and memorable holiday which all our other guests seem to appreciate 😁

We had an amazing stay at this B&B. Jackie was very lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Beds are super comfy. Felt very safe with all the measures put in place for Covid. And the breakfast was to die for!!! Definitely recommend. Very short walk to shops/pubs. Betws-y-Coed is just beautiful, we loved it.

My partner and I spent 4 nights at this idyllic b&b. The hospitality and welcoming environment from Jackie and Gary was superb and they helped us make the most of our trip with their local knowledge. The continental and cooked breakfast was lovely and the cleanliness and the COVID measures were spot on. Will definitely be rebooking soon!

Our hosts were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable of the area. They had lots of recommendations of places to visit and eat, which was very helpful! Thorough measures were in place to ensure cleanliness and social distancing, meaning we felt very safe throughout the duration of our stay. The breakfast provided was excellent! The room itself was beautifully presented with thoughtful touches. The B&B itself is in a wonderful location and will be sure to stay again when we are back in the area!

Hi Zara, thank you for your great review 😁 It really means a lot to us and (hopefully) those looking for somewhere to stay. We are taking this pandemic seriously and the safety of our guests.. and to be fare ourselves! Snowdonia and North Wales is equal, if not better, than any place in Europe with beaches, mountains, castles, Michelen restaurants, history and drama! Hope to see you again in the future. Gary & Jackie
