Overall a decent place to stay for £50 single room and breakfast.
I suspect the hotel is run on a tight budget which often happens with these faded and jaded old hotels.
Nice to have a hot bath after walking, as many places only have...More

I don't think it would be suitable. There are steps everywhere. While we were there a man with 2 sticks was struggling up the stairs to the restaurant for breakfast. There was no lift or stair lifts that I could see.

he Hotel has it's own off-street car park opposite the Hotel. Some parts of the car park are visible from some of the rooms situated at the front (street-side) of the Hotel. There is no gate to the car park, but it is off-street, and staff are aware of vehicle registrations. I do not know what security arrangements are like with regard to checking on vehicles. People other than residents guests also use the car park.
