#8 of 26 B&Bs / Inns in Conwy
Our elegant Edwardian country house is set in 3 acres of grounds with leisure facilities which includes swimming pool, sauna, gym and outdoor hot tub. We have charging points for electric cars and ample off-street parking. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, we are in the heart of the countryside and yet only 1.5 Miles from the historic town of Conwy and less than 15 minutes' drive from the seaside resort of Llandudno (voted top UK seaside resort on Trip Advisor). We are easily accessible and well placed for both business and leisure stays. Our candlelit restaurant is highly recommended and is open 7 nights as week to residents and non-residents alike. Our seasonal menu offers a choice of starters, main courses and desserts and the food is freshly cooked to order, using local ingredients wherever possible. We can offer a great wine list to complement your food. Our location is convenient for Conwy, Llandudno, Bodnant Gardens, Mount Snowdon, Anglesey and we are a very useful stopping off point for those travelling to the Holyhead ferry terminal. Outdoor pursuits of walking, golf, mountain biking are all on our doorstep and just a short drive away, you will find the longest zip-wire in Europe and the only indoor surf resort at Surf Snowdonia - as well as plenty of other outdoor activities to enjoy. Alternatively, you can just curl up with a good book in our comfortable lounge! A warm welcome awaits you!

Booking made a few weeks ago. Lots of correspondence at the time then all of a sudden we get an email cancelling our booking. No reason given and no reply to attempts to contact. Awful customer service, so we were probably lucky not to be staying there after all.

We stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. We were welcomed by the owner and shown around. We had an early start on our first day so they did us a take away bacon sandwich before the official breakfast time, which was fab! Room was comfortable and well equipped. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, will definitely return!

Checked in Saturday for an overnight stay. Two rooms booked and they didn't disappoint. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere in a country house in a beautiful setting a mile or so out of Conwy. The service was outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a pool, sauna, gym and jacuzzi (albeit outside) ...all included in the price, which we took full advantage of. And its not often you'll swim in a pool with a view of the hills. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening but the breakfast was great (english with all the works but not too much, coffee/tea, cereal etc....). Our rooms were spacious with lounge style sitting area's and ours had a jacuzzi bath which was lovely. And it was so quiet...no noise at all. Its a very relaxing place to go and is highly recommended.

We enjoy a quiet respite during a two week holiday to the UK and Sychnant Pass Country House did not disappoint! The charm of the country house and its location make it a unique destination in North Wales. The staff were welcoming and attentive to our every need (or want), often going out of their way to help. We had relatives visit while we were there, and were able to host them for cocktails and a lovely dinner (for 10!) We did not have a car and we're able to easily arrange for a taxi into town and back very easily with only a ten minute wait or less. A short hike provides amazing views of the area and its hills. Thank you to Janet, David, Sharon and Chef Clare for making this one of the highlights of our holiday!
