We wanted a three night break in Conwy where we could park the car and walk everywhere. This beautiful 19th century villa has a very interesting history and from our room you could see the town walls. Furnishings were quirky but we couldn't fault the comfortable, clean room or the breakfasts! The owners were friendly and helpful from the time we booked. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
One night stay only unfortunately but a lovely experience with great hosts and a well run hotel. Breakfast was superb and could not be faulted. Room 3 is newly decorated and has a view of the castle and has a small but perfectly formed en suite. Conwy was busy and so the free parking was a god send. Would return in a heartbeat. Good value too!
We visit Conwy and Llandudno several times a year to catch up with family and friends, and have stayed at numerous different hotels and guest houses in the area over the years. The Castlebank Hotel takes some beating and for us is up there with the best. Where it scores highest is with the warmth and hospitality the owners (Henrique and Jo) show to 'all' their guests - nothing appears to be too much trouble. Then there's the breakfast which in my opinion is second to none - everything is carefully sourced by the owners and cooked to perfection. The private car park immediately in front of the hotel is a fantastic plus point too. And to add the list of positives - the location is perfect, being right on the edge of town - everywhere is spotlessly clean - there's a bar/lounge area - it's great value. We will definitely be returning soon.…
Just returned from a fantastic weekend in Conwy, staying at the Castlebank Hotel. Henrique & Jo made us feel very welcome, the rooms are spotless, the location in town with free parking & the superb breakfast all made for a great stay. We've already booked for next year.
Stayed at the Castlebank Hotel for a couple of nights in December. Such a lovely place to stay. Cosy, clean rooms and bed was so comfy. The full english breakfast 10/10 and the host Henrique was friendly and gave us information on places to eat and what was on around the area. Would definitely stay again.
