The Guest House in Abergavenny hosted us for just two nights in October, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and agree that the breakfast was second to none (fresh eggs from the hens out back -- how often do you get to enjoy something so wonderful as that?). Jenny was helpful in pointing out some local spots for us to...

The Guest House exemplifies all the reasons to stay in a B&B over a hotel: friendliness, personality, and charm. I began an email exchange with proprietress Jenny before taking our trip, as she offered up advice about our two-week trek across Wales. I came to feel she was a friend before we even left the States. Once in Wales, and...

The Guest House is a very friendly and comfortable place to say. It helps if you don't mind cats and two parrots in the dining room (as well as slightly risque but highly amusing stories about them) - for me, they added charm and interest to a very pleasant two days, staying with friends while attending a wedding. Breakfast was...

In late September my brother in law and myself were doing a motorcycle tour of South Wales and were looking for a B & B. The B & B had to be motorcyclist friendly, secure parking, good food, clean rooms and friendly owners. This proved not an easy task. However we found everything we needed and more at "The Guest...

Jenny, Kevin and Sandy make you feel very welcome and it really is a home from home. If you are a cat lover...

An unexpected treat, a short stay at the Guest House. A warm welcome, great facilities, a comfortable night. Reasonable rates... no cards, but thats fair enough. The breakfast was it for a Prince of Wales.... homemade friut jelly, good tea, herby scrambled egg with generous scrambled egg and a lemon slice... followed by homemade toasted bread with sumer-in-a-jar raspberry jam...

We recently stayed at The Guest House for a wedding nearby and had a wonderful 3 day stay. The breakfasts were excellent, the hosts were great fun and the animals and birds were an added treat. In particular the ducks provided great eggs for breakfast while the parrots provided the entertainment. We would recommend this without hesitation. Mick and Sheila...

1 last visited the Guest House 2 years ago and was so impressed I thought I should write a review. This time I feel it is my duty to write a review on what is not only a fantastic guest house but also a Welsh experience. The hosts Kevin & Jenny have made some great improvements on what was already...
