Decent place to stay in you find yourself in this part of the world. Beautiful views close buy. Friendly little bar. Didn't sample the evening meal but it sounded good! Comfortable and clean rooms with an original feel. Breakfast was good.

Every member of staff showed real kindness and went out of their way to help; from the night manager who let me in and out of the building at very anti-social hours...

We really enjoyed a Friday night treat dinner here. The staff were great, attentive and friendly. Our food came swiftly which was great and was well presented and very tasty! I'd definitely recommend and would go back again!

Visiting Abergavenny for my father-in-law's 80th birthday, we decided to stay at The King's Arms. We normally stay at The Angel, but it was fully booked. On arriving, we had to make a quick checkin, and get to our lunch reservation at The Hardwick. The manager did so much to facilitate our checkin:- he advised where to park our car,...

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big and adequate. But very hot. With the window open the street noise was very loud. The smell of air freshner was overpowering. At midnight the radio alarm went off, be warned, unplug it. The bed was very hard. The bathroom was very clean, with conditioner and body lotion, but no...

Well-located, nicely renovated historic pub 2-minutes walk from Abergavenny town centre. For those who haven’t stayed before the following may be helpful. This is a fascinating, very old building, added to and taken away from for maybe 400 years.
