stayed for a couple of days to celebrate my birthday - had a fantastic characterful room complete with four poster bed. Delicious food including gluten free choices for me. Absolutely wonderful stay - great central location. Hope to visit again

Stayed here before Narrowboating and then on return. Staff could not be more helpful. Rooms are lovely and the restaurant has really excellent food!! Our friends could not get a taxi to the train station so the day manager drove them herself!!!
We always try to get a room at this hotel whenever we're heading for Abergavenny. The hotel has a wealth of character and history, and is just a great place to stay, right in the heart of the lovely town.

Thanks for your question. We have an enclosed courtyard which is non-smoking during food service and an outside area where smoking is permitted at any time.
