The Glan Gwna Country park on first sight appears to be a very nice woodland based, river lowing holiday park. But upon closer inspection its a bit ragged and run down. The rubbish area is filthy and should be hidden via fencing. The on site club is very rarely open and was shut this year in the middle of november....

The constant use of noisy grass Strimmers was continuous the 3 days we were there & the fumes started off a chest problem I suffer from. Sure there are areas that could be left for the grass & wild flowers to grow & allow...

I'm sure that you'll understand that this can not be maintained in a day and so throughout the summer season the ground staff are kept...

Ideal place to stay to explore this beautiful part of Wales, Plenty of scenic routes plus all the lakes etc. The park has a heated swimming pool, take away food and a club house. All you need for your holiday is here,I will definitely be back.
