Came back as a couple for second visit in a year without family in tow. Peaceful quiet break for 4 days, chance to unwind in lovely surroundings. Accommodation is excellent, would love to take the bed home. Breakfast is cooked to order, recommend the Welsh Breakfast with the white pudding, sets one up for the day. If you want peace...

I have stayed here many times now and use it as a good base for mountain bike trips in mid/north Wales. Lovely setting, large well equipped and well decorated rooms, even if looking a little in need of a re-Dec now,and the best breakfast to start the day. I will say restaurant is very hit and miss for the cost and...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a Christmas Break and we added a few days on afterwards. Our room was in the old bakery and was great, lean, large bed, large bathroom with separate shower and warm. No complaints at all. Location was extremely private and ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet. We went...

From our very first trip when we were put up by the makers of a certain BBC Programme, the service we have received from all members of staff has been exceptional, rivalling only the majesty of the hotel and it's beautiful location itself. On our several return visits (hunting for a dream home in the beautiful county of Ceredigion), we...

I was extremely impressed with our stay. We were staying here for a wedding and shared the Mews house with several friends. We were lucky enough to have the only room with an en suite. Breakfast delivered to our kitchen, so the groom couldn't see the bride was delightful. Great venue for a wedding with several rooms to socialise in....

Visited Nanteos on Christmas Day for their Christmas Lunch, after previously having to remind the admin staff to send me an acknowledgement of my payment of a hefty fifty per cent deposit. Canapes to be served on arrival, we were told; miniscule portions of smoked salmon mousse or caramelised onion brought round, once; went in search of additional helpings, to...
