Pretty average chain pub grub. Good prawn cocktail. Ribeye steak nothing like the photo, gristley and chewey. Quite expensive for what it was. Taking orders at the table, including extra drinks, a nice touch.

Nice hotel. Yes it's budget but with that little bit extra which can make a big difference. Little things like full size towels, bottled water and a packet of biscuits in the room. Also breakfast included in the price with a choice of freshly cooked not just a buffet. WiFi was a good speed too for a hotel. Nice stay... More

We had a family room for 2 nights but it was a squeeze and the sofa bed wasn't new and not in good order. The breakfast was acceptable but not the best we have had. Didn't eat in the restaurant and although not the worst situation quite a walk into town if you have anyone disabled in your party.

Stayed here last year with my other half for Wales Rally GB - pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff behind the bar. Rooms were adequate for what we wanted and plenty of parking space outside. Would recommend.

Disappointing meal with the family, the pub was busy due to the fireworks but this should have been accounted for. Food was ok but had to wait along time between starters and main ,some items missing even though they were named on the menu ,had to ask for these. Staff should have offered free round of drinks while we waited

We stayed here for one night - not sure that you would want to stay here for a weeks holiday, but for a couple of nights it's excellent. Plenty of on site parking (not always the case in Aberystwyth) the hotel is fairly new, so the rooms are currently clean, fresh and have everything that you need. We were at... More

Check in at the pub across the car park was quick, even though the person checking in was busy dealing with the restaurant. Plenty of parking available. Room was clean and bed had a firm mattress. TV had good reception and tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Bathroom cleaning needs more attention, shower head moldy, shower walls slightly dirty. But... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel recently and found it to be really convenient to the places of interest like the Vale of Rheidol Railway (10 minutes walk) and Aberystwyth Caste and town centre (about half an hour's walk). There is a supermarket nearby and shopping outlets like Poundland, Matalan, etc. close by. We did not even need to... More

We rocked up for a 3, yes 3, night stay and found 5 hangers on an open rail. ?? no drawer unit, no bedside drawers. Biggest gripe is NO WARNING. Another mystery is that we were put into 1 of only 2 fully accessible rooms with alarms and shower wet rooms.Surely these rooms are kept until last in case of... More
