Excellent hotel in lovely setting about two miles from town centre. Staff were polite friendly and efficient. Rooms were virtually faultless with fantastic views. Food and restaurant service was excellent and good value for money. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

This was a single night stay to break our journey after a riding holiday in South Wales. Easy access off a main road, splendid country views in all directions. Ambiance of being in a country house - staff were helpful courteous and friendly but not all over you like a rash - room was huge with fantastic view from an...

We stayed here for my brother's wedding. My daughter was not well but the staff were so helpful, allowing her to sleep on a couch in the bar during the reception and finding food for her a few hours later when she woke up (at no extra charge). We stayed in room 4 which is one of the newly renovated...

The building is a grand house from late 1800's with many original features and the view is simply fantastic. We stayed in the main house with views over the fields and found the room to be clean, period décor and...

The hotel was being decorated when I stayed. It looked a bit "tired" but should look brighter with a lick of paint! It has an "old world" charm. My room was very spacious and even had 2 TVs! The view was amazing! The breakfast menu had plenty of Welsh sourced items, but disappointed that there wasn't a vegetarian cooked breakfast....

We stayed at the Conrah Hotel for 2 nights as it was our daughters graduation. What a fantastic place. Beautiful setting, characterful building, really helpful, friendly, polite staff. Lots of thought has been given to ensure local produce and flavours are used in all meals. Really recommend the full Welsh breakfast. The evening meal looked a bit pricey for 'hotel...
