Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay at Ye Olde Talbot, I am sorry to hear you were awoken by delivery vehicles, unfortunately due to the location of the hotel, we are unable to disguise this due to being a city centre location. Kind Regards Aishia Pritchard General Manager

We stayed here last September and had looked forward to returning. We were given the same room which was ok but we noticed a smell of drains in the public area. We chose to eat at the hotel in the evening which was disappointing. I had a very dry unappetizing burger with rather hard chips. I was not told that...

The hotel is located centrally which is a bonus. The accommodation area generally, and our room was tired. The curtains had a few stains. The main light and one bedside light did not work. The bathroom was tired and the bath filled after a few minutes of the shower running. We were overlooking Friar Street and the glazing was such...

We attended this pub for dinner on the evening of Thursday 13th April. We left afterwards feeling completely satisfied, our bellies filled with delectable & well-cooked food, and our mood soaring like an eagle after prey. LOCATION: Being located on the corner of Friar Street, Ye Olde Talbot is in an optimal location for tourists & locals alike, being opposite...

Decided to add review after the indifferent response from Oldenglishinns who operate Ye Olde Talbot. Good points staff were very pleasant, location great and on the first night food was good, so we cancelled Saturday night booking elsewhere (mistake) Room allocated were above the Friday night band so no chance of sleep until band and crowd dispersed, it was only...

First of all I recommend getting new kettles as I burnt myself on it through no fault of my own, it happened while I was holding the handle! The hotel is in a very good location but can get very loud at night but that is understandable, breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Did...

Perfect location for exploring Worcester, close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't fault anything yes it's a little noisy but your in the middle of a city. Waking up to the Cathedral bells just added to the perfect stay we had here. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly welcome from helpful staff. Comfortable accommodation within sight of Cathedral and close to Royal Worcester Museum, Elgar's home and shops. Several other museums and buildings of interest in immediate vicinity. Friar Street leads into the Shambles where there are small independent shops, characterful pubs and lovely old buildings. Whilst the hotel offers reasonable food, there is certainly no shortage...
