The surrounds of this place are idyllic, beautiful, peaceful, surroundings with a lake, ducks and black swans. sadly thats where it stops. The hotel is tired, badly needs refubishing, wi fi is virtually non existent except in the lounge or reception where it is still very poor, signal collapses every few minutes, Food was very poor seems like it is...

After visiting a few wedding venues, as soon as we saw Dumbleton we knew it was the one. From the offset the staff at Dumbleton have been wonderful with their support and guidance. The grounds are majestic, full of green, with flowers in bloom and a large pond with black swans and ducks. Our wedding was in April this year...

It’s set in 19 acres of private garden with mature woodland and a lake where you can look out of your bedroom window and see heron catching fish on the lake and black swans nursing cygnets on...

Visited with family for afternoon tea, the approach through stunning parkland and lakes, then to the beautiful building, we thought we were in for a treat. We had to request our order being taken as they were taking a long time, when it came, I was a little sad, instead of dainty sandwiches I was given rolls, which quite frankly...

The food was excellent, starters include melon, mushrooms and patty and the mains were meat and fish followed by wonderful desserts. Breakfast also excellent. The staff throughout were excellent, nothing too much trouble. The bedroom was very...

My wife and I stayed here for a night, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Although it is a bit tired it is a lovely hotel, very quiet with beautiful grounds. The breakfast was delicious and the service very friendly and efficient. It is certainly a wonderful wedding venue. We will definitely return.
