These are some of the nicest people we met on our entire trip in Salisbury - and that says a lot since people are so friendly. The accommodations were very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. They give you two pillows, which itself you might think is no big deal, but we are readers in bed and two pillows are...

We were treated to a wonderful stop in Salisbury & this B&B was the perfect base for our plans to see the area! Steve warmly greeted us and kindly directed us to a nearby backyard car park. We were given a local map with his helpful tips & discounts for dining around Salisbury as Cathedral View guests. Our well appointed,...

Steve and Wenda were great. Their B&B is perfectly located a short walk from the train station through lovely Salisbury on bustling Exeter Street. You can cut right across the street and be at the Cathedral in a matter of minutes. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable and Steve and Wenda were perfect hosts. The breakfast was delicious! When we come...

Spent the weekend in Salisbury to re-visit the Cathedral and Stonehenge. Steve and Wenda provided a wonderful spot to stay. We could walk there from train station, visit all the sights in town and catch the bus to Stonehenge & Sarum. Steve's full English breakfast is the best. Also tried his American pancakes! Homemade jams & jellies; Wenda's yummy cookies....

We stayed 2 nites last May 2013. This B&B is just within walking distance to the shops, just across the beautiful 750 years old Cathedral. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast, especially the poach eggs prepared by Steve. A homely place, clean room , warm friendly host. Hope to visit Salisbury again and will stay in Cathedral View again. Oh,, nice home...

Salisbury is real interesting town, very old and quaint with a fine Cathedral and grounds but the main reason of us going there was to see our very old friends. Cathedral view was built at the latter part of the 17th century. We had a front twin bedded room which overlooks the Cathedral. We thought it would be noisy because...

We stayed just one night at this excellent B&B. This was our last night in the UK before returning home after 5 weeks of fairly constant travel and we were not disappointed. We received a very friendly welcome from Steve and Wenda with Steve showing us to our very comfortable, clean and quiet room, with ensuite, facing the rear of...

My husband and I stayed here during a return visit to England. While we stayed in "fancier" properties in other cities, we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and care we received at Cathedral View. Thanks to Steve's (our host) helpful suggestions, we were better able to enjoy the sights and culinary delights of the city. He even helped us...

Can't say enough about this great B&B! Steve and Wenda were perfect hosts! Friendly and helpful, offering great sightseeing or restaurant advise (loved The Cloisters!) and lent us umbrellas when it rained. Lovely old home that exudes charm. We had room #4 on the third floor. Quiet, very comfortable and clean. Fresh flowers in the room and fantastic English breakfasts...

Found Cathedral View using TripAdvisor and don't know why it isn't #1. Wenda & Steve make you really feel welcome. They can offer suggestions for things to see & do in the area. They have a great relationship with a number of local restaurants so customers can get deals because they are guests of Cathedral View. Rooms are clean and...
