This was a very last minute booking. We arrived at a super quirky venue, next door to the Cathedral, to find lovely decor and had a very comfortable night. Although we did t have an evening meal, the restaurant was full, so,if you plan an evening meal, I suspect you might need to book in advance. The staff were lovely....

We stayed in the annex of this historic building and loved our comfortable and charming room. The wifi was pretty hard to connect to so far away from the main building; we had to stand in the hallway to get a signal. The hotel pub is lovely and serves nice food and drinks. Only a few minutes walk from the...

We received a warm welcome when we turned up without a booking, and we received a personal yet professional reception. Every detail was dealt with effortlessly. The location attracted us firstly, across the road from the cathedral and in the city centre near to all the facilities. The interior is a very good antidote to the corporate hotel decor, the...

Arrived mid afternoon Saturday and was dead easy to find. Had phoned ahead regarding parking.......pulled up outside walked in was met by polite and friendly staff who sorted the parking ticket for us. A 2 minute walk later and we were back in the cosy feeling bar/restaurant and was shown to our room......The manager even carried our bags.....little things count....

I feel a bit of a nitwit, because I thought I had reviewed this last time we came a month or so ago. Must have got lost in the ether! The house wine is excellent "Klein Kloof" from South Africa, it means little mountain by the way! However, the price is more like a small hill and excellent value for...

I'm not one to write reviews but I feel the need to express my opinion as I was over the moon with the stay at the chapter house. The overall appearance from the outside screamed history from its approx 800 year old building which immediately catches the eye. As you enter, you are greeted by very welcoming staff who are...

The rooms here all have a unique historical twist with some awesome views of the Cathedral. The food all looks fantastic...I had the steak ...cooked to perfection.... and a fair old size too ! A good selection of beers and ales and the service was smiley and welcoming ;-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at The Chapter House in Salisbury. The floors, stairs, and welcoming wooden interior are just as charming and warm as they were when we last stayed here. My wife and I stayed here during Christmas in 1975 when it was called the Kings Arms. We found the staff to be universally friendly and...

This hotel hosted our family christening celebration in a private room. The food and friendliness of the staff were outstanding. I would not hesitate to come back. No car park but advice on where to park given.
