My daughter and I had a lovely Sunday Dinner here, I chose the Beef, my daughter The Lamb. The food was cooked and served to our taste served with a nice choice of vegetables which were all cooked to perfection. A lovely building with staff giving a nice service.

Went here for lunch today with a couple of friends. Ordered a lamb curry from the specials board. When it came it contained only a minute quantity of lamb, the majority of the ingredients was potato. It appeared to be made up of leftovers from Sunday lunch. I picked out what few meat pieces I could find which I ate...

Yes indeed it is very nice there, had a late Sunday lunch, beer was good and so was the food, would certainly recommend. There were a couple of downsides, but nothing to get too hung up about. 1. They seem to have a very young team, who perhaps lack a little attention to detail, for eg ordered bread and butter...

Very nice Olde World traditionally style pub just a few minutes walk from the Market Square. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Good pint of Guinness and selection of ales and ciders. Will certainly go back next time I am in Salisbury.

I have lived in Salisbury for a number of years and hadn't been here until the summer of this year. Having come in for drinks the food looked amazing as it passed us so we ordered from the lunch menu. It did not disappoint and since this meal we have never looked back! The staff were amazing and the manger...

I visited here with a group of friends to start our annual Christmas gathering but ended up staying until close. The place was packed with a wonderfully festive atmosphere and despite how busy it was the service was impeccable. Friendly staff, good food and only a short wait for our meals. We'll be back next year!

We have just returned from an excellent lunch. We booked for 4 staff a varied but traditional Christmas Fayre and was not dissapointed. The food was excellent, the pub was not loud or leary, the mulled Westons cider was delicious and the price very fair; under £100 for the 4 of us with drinks.

Visited the new inn just for some drinks and was impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere in this gorgeous building, went outside despite it being a cold evening and was delighted by the heated seating area and fire! Great place to visit however not the best selection of spirits.

Stopped by for a pint and lunch on a Friday. Husband had a hard cider and I had a fosters. The ambiance was nice with the light smell of a wood fire. My Husband had a large platter of fish and chips, which he said was tasty. I had the sloppy joe Nachos which were plentiful and flavorful. We were...

We reserved a table for Sunday lunch on 08.11.15 and the food was delivered to our table in a timely and courteous manner. The food was delicious (although the Yorkshire pudding was slightly burnt) and there was no one hovering, waiting for us to go. We spent three and a half hours at our table and we weren't made to...
