We came as part of a wedding party for 3 nights (wedding took place elsewhere) Turning up, you can tell its a luxury hotel from the look, feel and the guy who asks if he can take our luggage. The rooms are large, with a lovely seating area. Great facilities such as smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and tea/coffee. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was just a few points that I think would really help keep that feel. We used pretty much every facility in the hotel. Resteraunt- gorgeous food! We had a meal in the evening and breakfast in the mornings. The only thing I would say is they have a desk away from the restaurant to "check in" for your meal. However this was not manned. The first time we did not realise and went straight through to the Resteraunt, we got told we "should have waited at the desk" however this was not clear for someone who has never used the restaurant and also no one was there. One morning we did as they said and waited at the desk, we waited for 10 minutes for someone to come. Other members of staff did pass by, however no one asked if we needed help. I did also notice the wrong food going to wrong tables, I'm not sure if you just need a better system to not get mixed up as I could see some people were getting aggravated with this. Spa - we used the spa, it is lovely and very relaxing. We decided to get some lunch on the terrace, we were handed menus after being seated for 10 minutes. Once given our food, we did not see anyone again. We wanted some drinks after eating and I had to go looking for someone in my dressing gown. Bar - I didn't catch the lads name (blonde) but he was fab, loved to have a chat and remembered us each night. Now this is not a slight on the staff as once you had the attention of someone they were lovely! I do just think it's a quick reminder to them that if they see someone obviously waiting, they check in to make sure they are being seen to. Also each area does need to be manned (terrace/Resteraunt reception desk) as that was the only thing that let the service down. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Please don't take the above as anything but constructive, we loved the hotel overall.

I stayed there just one night with my girlfriend, as we had a massage booked elsewhere in Leeds and wanted a hotel with a spa that we could return to and chill out. Thorpe Park was perfect for that as they have a pool, sauna and steam room. You have to book a timeslot in the spa, which I think is actually a good idea anyway, as at least that way you can ensure it's not too busy. The staff were super helpful and everything in the hotel runs really smoothly. We stayed at Oulton Hall last the weekend prior to this and although it's a lovely building and grounds, the management in the hotel just can't compete with Thorpe Park. We will be back soon :)

Would just like to leave a small review. I organised an afternoon tea for my friends baby shower. From booking to the actual day was a breeze. I arrived to set up the decorations and the staff were setting the table and area up lovely for us. The afternoon tea itself was really delicious. The carrot cake was my favourite. Compliments to the chefs and the staff. What an amazing afternoon. Thank you

We have just returned from a fantastic 4 night break at Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa. Couldn't fault a single thing. The room (130) was perfect, lovely comfy bed and pillows and spotlessly clean. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The facilities at the hotel are spot on from the pool to the spa to the gym, perfect, but I think what really makes this hotel so wonderful are the staff, they are so friendly and cannot do enough to help. The staff in the dining areas of the hotel, Dan, Kay, Rose, Zoe and Jake to name but a few went out of their way to make sure that we felt welcome and that we were well looked after. As well as the dining area staff the reception staff, events manager and porter were all so welcoming and friendly, nothing was a bother to them and it really enhanced our stay. Needless to say we will be back and will 100% recommend this hotel. A huge thank you to you all for making our stay perfect.

From checkin to checkout we had a lovely and pleasant stay! Stayed in the brownley suite and must say we were very well looked after and we enjoyed ourselves so much we extended our stay - TWICE! Huge thanks to Darren the guest relations manager who had been a great help and helped us extend our stay efficiently with ease. Mario Zak the hospitality manager, and Paul the head chef were brilliant and really made the effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable - they also ensured we had halal food as requested and Paul was marvellous as he really went out of his way to source and cook up some fresh lobsters for me which I was craving so much! One of the bar staff was particularly accommodating when it came to my specific drink requests - he made me some delicious mojitos according to my taste - sorry can’t remember his name but just wanted to mention him and say a big thank you! We did have a hiccup with the spa as they had double booked us in which meant we couldn’t have our spa treatments we were looking forward to as a couple but they did try to schedule us in for other shorter treatments. Overall, staff, food, service and cleanliness had been great throughout and I couldn’t have asked for a better break especially during Covid! I will definitely be coming back. Keep us the great work!
