We were expecting a bit more really. After reading reviews we were excited about our stay at The New Ellington. Room was basic and very dark (not much natural light). Dressing table mirror was made for the worlds tallest man. Went to straighten one of the pictures on the wall, to find it had been screwed to the wall like...

Stayed here for 1 night on a Friday with the hubby while to kids were away. The hotel has a great location, nice and quiet which a lot of the city centre hotels are not! Its close to the train station and away from the noise of the bars. Just a couple of issues we had - 1. The milk...

What a wonderful find in a back street location. Great decor lovely atmosphere. The room was well proportioned well light spotlessly clean. City central location but ticked away enough for peace. Wonderful Gin bar so you can sample many from around the globe. Join the Gin club to benefit from some discounts.Do enjoy your stay as much as I did....

The hotel is a short flat walk from the main city centre area and I liked the fact that it was on a quiet street too. I stayed in room 206, which overlooks the street, but had no issues with any noise at all. Comfortable bed and well-cleaned room. Breakfast was slightly disappointing though, with the 'Full Yorkshire' including two...

I have stayed here twice in the last month and sadly walked away disappointed on both occasions. It has the potential to be a nice hotel but has a few problems: - Beds are two single beds pushed together so not comfortable. - Rooms are not 100% clean (smears on window and crumbs on floor). - Shower is not powerful...

I have stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions now, and I have to say I think its one of the top hotels in Leeds. Staff are pleasant and courteous, the rooms are clean and well presented, the bathrooms and linen are second only to the very best hotels in town. On both occasions I have returned to my...

The room was spotless, with a king size bed, fridge and great shower room. We didn't have breakfast as we thought it was to expensive at £15-50 per head. Next time we visit...

Staff were so helpful, got given extra pillows when asked, stored our luggage the next day whilst we went shopping after check out and even gave us an umbrella to use as it was raining! The ncp car park was a 5 minute...

Great hotel, stayed here before and was impressed. Again, a warm welcome, we were early and they stored our luggage, nothing was too much trouble. Very well appointed rooms, lively bar and breakfast, smart and quite trendy. Short walk to the city, 7 mins to the station, car park (subsidised) 5 mins away. Would definitely stay here again.

Went here to go to Canal Mills on a night out, wasn't looking for anything spectacular but we got it. Friendly welcoming staff, room was very big with a king size bed, bathroom was a walk in wet room with jets. Got a hairdryer, tv, coffee machine and kettle. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel and soap. Big towels...
