Went to this lovely pub for lunch and were not disappointed. We both had the special of the day which was salmon wrapped in pancetta and it was delicious. It was busy for a Monday and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Will definitely go back.

Based on previos reviews we booked for Sunday night on our way to Gatwick and arrived at about 3.00. The Pub/restauranat was very busy and we were shown to our room. We went down for dinner soon having reviewed the menu online and in our room. What nobody had told us was that the only meat dishes on Sunday eveing...

This Was myself and partners first outing with our new born daughter; And one we will remember, the food was great and service brilliant. They arranged a table that was pram friendly and then were more than happy to give us hot water for the baby's bottles. The food was brilliant with "proper" portions. I had a burger and my...

A victim of its own success I am afraid. A nice location and excellent location but if you don't book and it is a Friday or a Sunday, then you won't even get as far as the car park let alone find a table. Tip. Book. We have heard that it is worth it! Maybe next time....

Stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights in a twin room which opened directly onto the front garden. The room was immaculately clean and well appointed (but I do wish towels wouldn't be changed daily - quite unnecessary!) Staff were friendly and the bars and restaurant were attractive but tended to be noisy. We ate here on the Sunday...

Although this pub may appear to be in the middle of a quiet village it certainly attracts a lot of people. Its excellent location near Chichester and great food are all an extra bonus. We arrived on Saturday early evening and it was absolutely packed which is always a good sign of an establishment popular with locals and other from...

This is a very special pub with normally great food but tonight was not one of their best nights for me. Steak was extremely tough although tasted good it was not very easy to swallow but my dog did well out of it.

I had the vegetable risotto which was scrumptious. My wife have the pork tenderloin which was served with an apple based sauce which was also delicious. The accompanying vegetables were nothing special but overall this was the best meal we have had so far in England. It is out of the way but worth the diversion.

Had a scrummy Sunday lunch here. We hadn't booked but they happily accommodated the three of us. Bigger inside than it looks outside with several rooms for diners. Beautiful garden outside with awesome views. Friendly, attentive staff. Other food on the menu. Would recommend.

Great beer, convivial atmosphere, and pleasant garden if it isn't raining. Enjoyed many a lunch here, and well worth the walk before hand. Prices were acceptable for what we had in mind, and if you are racing at Goodwood a convenient place to stay.
