Having been shown around the house, the bedroom, and the grounds by a very helpful 'guide'. we were left with a front door key and a wish that we enjoyed our stay. We did. The view of the sunlit south side of the cathedral as we went up the stairs, the free parking in the centre of Chichester, and breakfasts...

I had my wedding reception here in September and this place was just amazing. The venue itself is set on beautiful grounds next to the Cathedral which make for great wedding photos. Canon Lane has a good sized garden which is also good for the family photos too. The food was excellent and they catered for everyone's requirements without issue....

Run by Chichester Cathedral Enterprises, 4 Cannon Lane offers calm and respite from the clamour of everyday life in a perfectly situated location in a quiet lane in the Cathedral grounds. The team responsible for bookings were highly professional and welcoming, and on arrival everything was ready, including a free car parking space opposite the front door. Our room was...

Central location, next to the Cathedral, very convenient for all the shops and restaurants. We had a standard room but having seen the larger rooms would recommend upgrading. Our room 6 had a problem with sink drainage (very slow) they are aware. That apart staff are very friendly and helpful. The mattress (soft) did not suit us, we both prefer...

4 Canon Lane is run by Chichester Cathedral Enterprises and is located right behind the cathedral in a very quiet side street. So the perfect place from which to discover Chichester, its shops, museums, and cafés. The B&B is set in a charming building with a peaceful back garden and overall has a personal touch. Rooms can be a bit...

The name of George Bell may have been excised from the signage to this house, but the names of the rooms inside and the general atmosphere of peacemaking still exude his saintly character. We were made very welcome here for our four-night stay which was the heart of a short holiday in the south of England. This house is not...

We travelled to Chichester for business, and lucked out with a room at 4 Canon Lane! We had a beautiful view of the Cathedral from our cozy but comfortable room (called the Canterbury Room) on the second floor. The bathrooms are modern with good facilities. The bed was a little too soft, but manageable for just two nights. The staff...

Use the off-street parking to leave your car and explore Chichester on foot from here : Bishop's Palace Gardens, City Walls, Festival Theatre, canal walk, the Novium and of course the cathedral. Rooms come with iron, hairdryer, wi-fi ...and slippers plus you'll be well...
