I have been to the Nags head a number of times. Normally pretty good but a lot of it is down to who is the chef on the day you are eating as standards to vary! Not a great deal of choice of veg on the Calvary but all in all a nice place to eat.

Came to the Nags Head by chance whilst visiting Chichester for the day. Carvery seemed a little expensive at first at £13 but given the amount of meat and huge Yorkshire puddings felt worth the money. Kids carvery was £7 and was ample for my growing 12 year old and they even had gluten free gravy for my coeliac daughter....

Ok it's a pub I know, but on the many times I have visited never had a bad meal. Good menu , plenty of choice for children, and an excellent Carvery. Huge choice and big portions. Staff are always attentive and friendly

The pub is very traditional, even down to the pub name in the glass windows. However, the selection of drinks, whether beers, ciders, wines or spirits, is extensive. The dining area is very different. It is like a conservatory, although much larger than any conservatory that I have ever seen. The tables are scrubbed wood, and convey a basic/cafe impression....

The restaurant is first class. The choice of food is really quite vast and the quality and value are excellent. We have eaten there before with family and just the two of us - usually having the carvery of which I believe is served everyday. This weekend we had the prawn cocktail and the liver... the liver was on a...

I had the pleasure to sample the food here with a dining pal, to say we were impressed is an under statement. The tuna steak was presented and cooked to perfection, the Carvery beef equal to rosette standard and the vanilla cheesecake Paul Hollywood would have been proud to call his own !!! Looking forward to a return visit.

Having recently got married in Chichester, we booked several rooms for our friends and families. The rooms are spotless, well finished and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked and the restaurant beautifully designed. The pub serves great beers and has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. We will be back.

I was in Chichester visiting friends, and was asked to meet friends for a meal at The Nags Head, just had to tell everyone what a great meal we had. Sorry I didn't take photographs, but the variety of the food coming out of the kitchen was wonderful, and I have to say generous portions.

I took my mum and nan here for lunch on a Saturday, it was very quiet and we were served by a lovely young lad. I had the duck & orange salad and my god it was one of the best lunches I've ever had! My mum had the Camembert which she equally loved, however my nan had pate and...
