A great place to stay and enjoy a laugh with friendly staff, great food and great location. It will not be too long before we return, there is lots to see and do within a 15 mile radius most of the year.

The hotel was great but the food was shocking. The dinner was overpriced, service was poor and the breakfast was particularly bad. Supposedly cooked to order but everything was cold. My friend's crumpets were still frozen in the middle even after they had been through the toaster 3 times. At £9 a head, it was extremely poor value for money!!

The room has a bath with a shower over. How is this fit for purpose for a Disabled person who needs a wet room for personal hygiene They do however provide a ramp from the car park leading directly into reception so that you can pay your money over before you get a glimpse of the room you have to... Let's get the bad out of the way. No air con in the room. That's it. The good stuff - all the staff were amazing, professional, kind, efficient, friendly, couldn't do enough and great to chat to. The room was clean and on the ground floor which was perfect and no noise either considering we were at the front. Breakfast... More

Great beds breakfast large Tv for hotel room we stayed in November and we stayed in our room from early evening as the weather was horrible and watched some Tv. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was great with free meal for the children.

We stayed here overnight. The rooms were clean, inviting, modern and comfy. The bathroom was also up to date ,the shower was hot and again exceptionally clean. We had plenty of coffee, tea making facilities. We also had the breakfast option and I would highly recommend that, as loads of choice and is good value for money. I would definitely... More

This was our first visit to this Premier Inn and we stayed in a newly refurbished room. Warm welcome from Maurice on reception, who deserves a special. He asked how our trip had been and what we had planned etc. Found out it was my birthday and we when arrived back on our second day a card and bottle of... More

It has been over a year since our last visit and what a change. Before guests seemed only to comment on the run down look of the hotel. Well, what a surprise! The Grade Two Listed building has had a total makeover, inside and out. We received a warm welcome from both Maurice and Carol. They are real assets to... More

Very friendly approachable staff. Definitely recommend meal deal. This premier inn felt very welcoming more like a family run hotel. The staff could not do enough for us and for other people I know who also stated there. Only problem encountered was when googled post code looked like last letter was O not Q and ended up in the forest... More
