The upgraded room was up fifty three stairs with no lift which was far from ideal and certainly not worth the extra payment. It was sadly very dated and in need of a refurb, had a very uneven and sloping floor and... More

The Norfolk Arms Hotel the great example about how to serve a guest! Quiet place in the middle of the City of Arundel! Lovely walk around there. Touchable history feeling. We'll travel back at summer time again! Thank You very much!

My wife and I spent one night at the Norfolk Arms and the overall experience was very good. The location in the town is excellent for the castle, cathedral and shopping. The staff were very well trained and offered a good level of customer service and the breakfast very good offering a good selection and very good quality ingredients. We definitely... More

Travelled from Bolton, stayed for 2 nights, before morning flight from Gatwick Airport, good location, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Good alround stay in a lovely setting, it was a pity the castle was closed for winter.

We had a really enjoyable 2 night mid week stay. Room was great overlooking the high street, food was great for breakfast and evening meal. The location is superb, really handy for exploring Arundel and the surrounding area. We would definitely go back.

A superb overnight stay. Food was first class, excellent professional waiting staff, reception area well manned and enthusiastic. Room large ,huge bed , good toiletries, large white fluffy towels ,and lovely and warm. The mattress was a bit too firm for our liking but I think thats a personal preference.

Travelling by train I wanted somewhere to stay in the town centre, below the castle but with a cosy feel. A fine 19th Century hotel with two logs fires burning, in the bar and in the dining room, on a damp Saturday afternoon was just what I wanted on the wet afternoon I arrived..
