Rose is the best hostess providing a very comfortable bed and breakfast in a fabulous old centuries hall which has been lovingly restored. Highly recommended - breakfast is amazingly good! We were a family of 6 which Rose spread across three rooms comfortably. Stayed only one night. Had a meal at the pub in Barnacle which has a huge menu.

Glad to see you are safely back home after your break in the UK. I thoroughly enjoyed having you all to stay. There is always a good atmosphere in the house when we have a family to stay. So pleased you enjoyed breakfast. Just to put the record straight the pub you ate at was The Shilton Arms in Shilton,...

I spent five nights per week in 'Cherry', which is a large double bedroom, with views to the front garden and a separate private bathroom on the floor below. Rose is an excellent host - welcoming, professional, and applies the same high standards to everything she does. The location is semi-rural location makes for a quiet environment, yet it still...

After a hectic year we are now winding down and preparing for Christmas. It is always good to hear from guests who stay several months, some come for 1 month and then stay for 2 years or more. We feel it is important to provide a consistently good service because this becomes their second home. There are always regulars stopping...

We stayed at Barnacle Hall in order to visit The Warley Model Railway Show at the NEC in Birmingham. We chose Barnacle Hall because we love historical buildings with character and the Bed and Breakfast has an excellent reputation. We were delighted with the house from the outside and with the atmosphere as we were welcomed through the huge, old...

It was a pleasure to stay here, it's a really beautiful farm house. We had the room with the private bathroom at the bottom of the stairs, this wasn't a problem in the slightest. The room is large, clean with a great view, breakfast was lovely too. We would happily stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad our facilities were to your liking. The room in question has a large separate, private bathroom. This has enabled us to retain the space in the bedroom. We have stayed in a number of b&b's where the bedroom has been reduced in size to accommodate an en-suite bathroom. This...

Pride, attention to detail, homely, nothing too much trouble ..... we could go on and on. Great rural location, but you can walk to the pub and get to Coventry easily. Interesting history of the house and farm and Rose has great historic knowledge of the local area. Rooms have everything you need and the freshly cooked breakfast to order...

So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. The experience I have gained by staying in lots of other b&b's has enabled me to select the best practice when it comes to fitting out a bedroom. I try to include items which I think you as guests will appreciate and therefore make your stay more enjoyable. I have gained some...

I thoroughly enjoyed your company at breakfast and learning about all the places you visited whilst staying with us. From experience when guests are visiting friends in England there is always a full programme of events planned for them. I hope you will come and see us again and enjoy more of what our country has to offer.

We stayed 2 nights in this great b and b. The house itself is old (1760?), beautiful and immaculate, and our room and en suite were spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely welcome from Rose, the owner, who had spent the day mowing the lawns in her gorgeous English country garden. I took my cup of tea outside and...

I do appreciate your comments. With regards to the age of the house the stone facade at the front was added to the house in 1745 which is 2 centuries after the main part of the house was built. A lot of the 16th century features still remain which give the house its character. As you stated a cottage garden...

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Accommodation in and around Coventry was in high demand on the 3rd of June owing to Bruce Springsteen performing at The Ricoh Arena. We are only 15 minutes from the arena, so if anyone is attending an event there whether it is a conference, exhibition or concert staying here would be very...
