After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor I was dreading my overnight stay ! Thankfully, all was well 😉 The staff were welcoming, the room spotless and plenty of hot water .. to and clean cosy beds! I paid for the 3 course dinner.. ok it's not the Ritz but it filled a hole! The chef who carved was very friendly...

Stayed here on a national holidays/Travelstyle mystery tour, coach driver was honest that hotel was very basic. A monstrous concrete hi rise facility next to a noisy bypass but we couldn't change rooms because the hotel was full! Didnt expect the Ritz but come on! Could hardly see out of the dirty windows, furnishings very tired and threadbare and the...

Went on a mystery tour with National Coach Holidays only to pull up for an overnight stay at this concrete jungle. The food was tasteless, mostly tined or frozen and of cheap quality. The rooms were dated and bathoom was moldy. Will never stay at this hotel again. Get your act together National and find another hotel were guests can...

Me and my partner ended up here as part of a Mystery Tour with National Holidays who we have travelled with many times and never stayed in somewhere like this. As soon as we pulled up our faces said it all. Pubic hair all over the bathroom, outdated and dirty rooms. Food was at best edible. I would not recommend...

I ended up at this hotel during the national holidays mystery weekend special; a weekend which I have tried and will not ever try again or recommend. Upon arriving at this place, the exterior looked dated, it reminded me of a block of concrete flats that are situated in Sheffield city centre referred now as a heritage site. The interior...

The George V, Carlyle, Cipriani, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Coventry Hill, Sandy Lane... the fabulous properties that have made my 2016 best hotels in the world list. They all offer something extraordinary - be it location, service, style, soul, design, seclusion, facilities or romance and it's for everyone of these points that the Coventry hill is the only UK hotel...

I have just returned from a National Holidays short break where we stayed in this hotel. As a base for a break this is a perfectly acceptable budget hotel and I would happily stay there again. Everyone on the coach reported that their rooms were clean and serviceable. My bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the heating...

It is what it is. A bed for the night prior to departure from Birmingham airport. The bar snacks are limited but reasonably priced and quite tasty. The beer again a fair price but you will share the place with workmen so certainly not top notch but the language is colourful. Staff are nice and friendly.
